hello fellow Unifi users.

I just received a message, when I clicked the link (to tv.unifi.com.my/) there was this message.

QUOTE
Hi (named)
Thank you for being a loyal unifi customer.

Kindly take note that the promotional package that you are currently subscribed to has either ended or will be ending soon.

We would however like to take this opportunity to upgrade your package to a plan that will suit your needs and still provide you with monthly savings!

Then below it, was this

(if I agree, I have to tick the boxes)
QUOTE
I hereby confirm all the information given above is correct. I understand on the request to change the package speed and price with contract refreshed 24 months as mentioned above.

I agree for my change of package order to be executed by TM accordingly.

I agree for unifi TV pack to be removed to enjoy greater savings but I can still enjoy unifi TV‘s Free channels. T&C apply.

I agree that I have no outstanding amount in my current unifi account. I acknowledge that I have read, understood and agreed to be bound by the terms mentioned above and general unifi terms & conditions.
right now, i'm paying about RM154 monthly for Unifi 300 (turbo) + hypptv (I forgot what it's called).

They're now offering me 300Mbps at RM139 per month.

The problem was, the SMS seems to imply that my speeds will be reverted to 30Mbps, and i still pay Rm154 monthly ?

Any advice on the matter, you good folks? Context, I signed up for Unifi 2 years ago.

Thanks for reading, and thanks for advices.

I received the same msg, currently paying 199 for 500turbo n unifi TV.
What they offer is to maintain the same plan for 219/mth or 199/mth without unifi TV.

I think I will move to maxis with this offer

Just got my 100mbps installation this evening. The installer fixed the fiberhome ONU and Dlink Covr1100 as a router. While the wifi is good, I am getting the speed but ethernet LAN is something else, the max it can read only 10mbps. I am using mobo that supports gigabit lan and cat5 cable. Connect to my laptop also 10mbps, be it windows or linux box. But when I try to put into the older VDSL router, it can go 100mbps or to the ONU itself, it read 1000mbps but not from the Covr that TM gave me.
*
I have the exact issue. My pc can support gigabit lan, but it can only go 10mbps. The technician said I need to change the internet card, which is totally not the problem.

If i directly connect my lan cable to unifi port, it shows 1000/1000 mbps, which proved my lan is working ok, the issue is with the D link Covr 1100 router. I tried to connect with other router, which the setting showed 100/100 mbps, but I can't connect to unifi despite I copy the username and password to the other router.

Please give a solution how to fix this? I updated the firmware to 1.04, but problem still there

Have you recently request to change plan? You need to call TM to confirm the speed. If it is 300mbps at RM139 then it's a good deal even without the TV.

For the other router, what model? You need to set Unifi Vlan 500 for Internet. Nothing much you can do for theCovr 1100.

Nope, I have not, but I do remember that my 2 year tenure is coming to an end soon (as I reflected as to why the message came about)

If your discount is not perpetual, it will revert to RM199 for 300mbps after 2 years. Hence those affected users either port to other provider and some got the offer of RM139 without free calls and TV after they go and nego with TM.
Best you check what's offered to you before you commit another 2 years recontract.

Replied to your PM. Yup, there is a bug with it and the installer confirmed that as he also received complaints from several users that the port speed only can go highest at 10mbps even using the gigabit lan.

Edit: Default is set to auto under network advanced setting. Kinda weird it autoselect the lowest out of 10/100/1000 doh.gif
