Maxis Home Fiber Smart TV Plan & Early Termination Penalty Revised

Please be informed that starting from 23 Nov 2020, all Home Package Early Termination Penalty no longer RM500, it will revised to Remaining Months Penalty. Please take note that if the amount of remaining months is less than RM500, penalty RM500 will be applied.
For Maxis TV Packages, Maxis already revised the criteria to Only Maxis One Plan 128 (MOP128) & above plan holders are entitled for RM1/mth to get TV. (Previously was all Maxis One Plan holders).

If I recall correctly someone here did mention that they managed to get 100mbps @ RM99 without Unifi TV right? No?

She said its only offered to those under the Bonanza package (without perpetual discount)

Mine (with perpetual discount) she said cannot offer. (I wanted to take RM99 100mbps)

She did verify that the packages for 100mbps and 300mbps are available but only for existing Bonanza package.

I think Turbo upgraded subscriber priority for this package since most of plan is expired.

Symmetrical only for 30mbps plan. The rest same as Unifi. But if you want to get 300mbps and above Maxis is still cheaper compare to Unifi.

Celcom fibre internet is a bit cheaper, plus Celcom also provides TP Link AX10 router although for "new registration only". Well, if we are to switch, we are considered as new registration, right?

Actually if we study carefully, this contract terms changes is partly cause by TM. To get customers from other ISP to switch to Unifi, they not only offer free TV but even offer to pay RM500 penalty for termination through 10 months bill rebate of RM50. In order to counter a lot of possibly early termination, Maxis finally changes their T&C, so consumer are the one at the receiving end.

Hi, I'm trying to install Maxis Fibre at my new house. When I check the coverage and ask a reseller, it says that the max speed is 800 Mbps. But when I apply for Unifi, they say that the max is only 30 Mbps which is weird since Maxis uses Unifi's port.

On top of that, my friend living in another block can get up to 100 Mbps. My question is are these discrepancies normal?

Now they give covr1100 as stock router ? So good, can extend with my covr1100 mesh.

That's really good. The only thing I don't like about the COVR1100 is that is only has 2 ethernet ports.

Is anyone experiencing slower speed today?
I'm on 500Mbps line but my speedtest shows 420+Mbps.

Last week, I got 500+ Mbps consistently.

I have the exact issue. My pc can support gigabit lan, but it can only go 10mbps. The technician said I need to change the internet card, which is totally not the problem.

If i directly connect my lan cable to unifi port, it shows 1000/1000 mbps, which proved my lan is working ok, the issue is with the D link Covr 1100 router. I tried to connect with other router, which the setting showed 100/100 mbps, but I can't connect to unifi despite I copy the username and password to the other router.

Please give a solution how to fix this? I updated the firmware to 1.04, but problem still there

No problem with WAN, we are referring to LAN which is stay at 10mbps only.

Hi guys.

Do you having reconnecting issue on Whatsapp video call after a while? I keep on getting this issue after upgrading to 100mbps. I was provided with Huawei and Netis set when installation was done for 30mbps, at that time.

I tried with iphone 6s, samsung 20+, viv0 y11, all same. But when I change to mobile data, no such issue.

Any advices?
