Hi All,

Great to see some great constructive comment now and not sales talk and etc.

Anyway, have not been working for the past 2 days and hence I get the chance to test the speed in the morning and afternoon. Seem like speed is ok but nothing to shout about. The least of all is it doesn't get cut off or dial up speed.

My only problem is at night. I suspect its too many user in Kelana Jaya and all sharing 1 single piping bandwidth.

Izzi tech support telling me the story of blindspot and etc.....but then why it doesn't happen in the day time? All this slow and crawling speed is only occuring at night. Here's are some screenshot of the speedtest for all to see.

I called the customer support, and they said they'll report the problem...

don't know how fast they will react

i tried testing the speed again, and still dloading speed at only 270KBPS...

anybody got luck by complaining?

i'm sending them the email with my results. Signal is 24/7 at 100% but speeds are very bad..sigh

I was wondering about the connection speeds around night time (e.g. 8pm-12am). Bandwidth is about less than 200kbps.

Signal is near 100% so sometimes the ping is ok...but even sometimes there's a pause, and then only resume loading again.

Yes...i keep the sales person contact number. Will post it when i reach my home...

However, i would like to remind you nothing is perfect, as per kajika81 case. He enjoy good performance for the very first month and now seem he kinda has dissatisfaction to the product.

Care to share more Kajika?

reason.. more users hooking up to the network "Fast", but the backbone upgrading slow
same goes with the tower deployment ...

hopefully after some time they will improve...

actually all these wireless thingie we can't be sure what's going to happen for the coming months. It could be getting worse since as mentioned before its all based on the numbers of users at certain areas. by that time, we could either terminate the service and opt for other solutions or just keep it to use as normal surfing and not p2p. maybe by that time we could test out the wimax for home users.

hmmm ... funny, i thought i already posted a reply to this but seems like it's gone missing... shocking.gif and i was saying, i got the game client from mmosite.com. latency didn't occurred much at the moment for some games, but there was this one game that i can hardly get my character to move. the game seems like canot get the signal that i wanted it to move. u'll be wondering like did the information managed to transfer throught the air of wireless or not flex.gif

You didn't test before you subscribe? If you are not satisfied with the speed, you should not subscribe it... The speed is not consistent at my place ... Sometimes it was fine but sometimes it can be quite slow.. But since it is wireless, i also don't have much to complain...

I just launched a report when the speed is dropped, the support team have called me to tell me that they will do something within 48 hours. I will update you guys when I got their feedback... smile.gif

I've tested in my area. After getting an antenna the bandwidth was around 500-600 on average, so I thought after getting another base station up, it would be higher. But even on the last few days of last month, the bandwidth already decrease to 400 at the most? Usually I can only get around 10-12KB per sec. While streaming 98kbps music, download speed can fluctuate anywhere from 30+ to 200+, so only a few times got distorted. So many people suddenly sign up in my area?

I think my area in Kelana Jaya are getting a lot of subscriber. In fact they are having a roadshow in KJ Giant Hypermarket.

Anyway, Kajika81, I think you are getting a decent speed compare to mine. Mine is totally pathetic. Every night after 10pm without fail I get disconnected, can't log on and if very lucky manage to log on then the speed is never above 100Kbps. At least u are getting >100Kbps.

My problem is I am only free after 10pm. Hence I could log on and do my mail checking, ftp and etc etc.....ym and etc. So during this 1-3hrs of my precious online time I expect consistency and decent speed before I go to sleep. Imagine my disappointment and surprise when I find the speed is so much slower than dial up. I feel malu not sure of IZZInet. Not sure whether they are trying to avoid this problem or trying to cheat as many people as possible or not. No matter what kind of business strategy they are trying on us......at least have some decency and ethic to give support and solution.

I am thinking to myself......perhaps I should have subscribe to celcom broadband instead.

Btw, I have a friend using 2 mths on Packet-1 (http://www.packet-1.com/) ...... Green Packet Company and he's getting more than 1Mb for his wireless broadband. Only problem is its only available in Setia Alam now.

it was ok when testing, acceptable and not much latency in my gaming, or maybe coz it's not a heavy graphic game , hahaha
but night time it's gotten worse and even middle or the nite signal up and down, shocking.gif

I don't know about the rest, but I sure find it interesting that the user feedback lately has been rather negative. It initially starts out good, then slowly (or, for some users, quickly) deteriorates. This seems to be a disturbing trend.

And yet, in spite of all these feedback, people are still signing up. Also, despite saying that wireless connections are not good for latency sensitive applications such as online gaming, there are still people who sign up for it. I am continually surprised at how humans love to inflict unnecessary and avoidable pain on themselves doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

Finally, if you use Izzi's own speedtest, I'll be terribly unhappy if I don't achieve 80% of my promised bandwidth. After all, the speedtest is done internally, it's not going out anywhere to the internet. I suggest that people who are not getting at least 80% of their bandwidth using Izzi's own speedtest to lodge a report, then if nothing gets done, report to the MCMC using the guidelines here.
