How to do internal funds in from direct IBKR account to new account via TGS?

I do not see the new account listed under "Destination" in funds transfer, and "Link All of My Existing Accounts Under a Single Username and Password" option mentioned in below link is missing.

the instructions are available on TSG website, although not all IBKR can be linked to TSG.

i encounter the account in different entity issue like you guys, so what i did was fresh open an IBKR account via TSG.
So now i have 2 acc,
1. Old IBKR direct account
2. New IBKR via TSG.

The question is: possible to transfer funds from account 1 to account 2 without going back into bank?

Never tried before but very likely can!

Just send them a message via the client portal....!!

Guys, I have been Swing/ day trading for few weeks now. And the cash not settled w 2-3 days wait is making me lose of on good profits 😖

Do you guys recommend margin acc? The thought of ‘borrowing leverage’ is scary to me cuz Im not familiar w it..

Anyone here as a trader mind sharing your experience on margin? Like whats the pros & cons you encountered?

spend < cash balance == "cash account"

just change to a margin account.All unsettled cash is considered part of your funds and you can trade without it being in your account yet.

interest rates are low, and if you use it as per your cash account (i.e. don't borrow) you will be fine

Ah I see, thanks for the reply! The requirement is $2k min for margin right? Read somewhere abt PDT of 25k min for margin as well but is this only for leverage use right?

This is for day trading requirement. You need minimum $25k or else, your account will be flagged if you day trade frequently.

We can use spore bank local fast transfer to fund our IB acc without any additional transfer fees.

Does anyone have a better route to fund webull or firsttrade account?
For every transfer, our local bank will charge high conversion fees + Rm10 and US bank will charge Usd20....

Bigpay is the only option.
But you will be hit with withdrawal fees unless you don't intend of bringing money back.

That's the reason I use interactive broker only. It gets the job done without getting hit with expensive fees and markup exchange rate as I can convert using interactive broker into SGD at spot rate.

I can see the margin interest rate but how will they collect it from our account?

Add debits to your account.
Month to date interest. Look through the funds column.

Interactive broker if you have USD100k or can generate USD 10/month in trading commission or else you will be charged USD10/month inactivity fees.

If you cannot furfilled the USD100k worth of asset or USD10/commission, go with whitelabels of Interactive broker.
The recommended ones are tradestation global.

I read the first post already, need some help here.

1. I am not a a frequent trader, so i cant maintain min 10USD brokerage fees monthly, the the only viable way is to register Tradestation and deposit min 2K USD( i checked website it is no longer 1k)?

2. Tradestation only allow trading after live data enable? How much should I pay for live data for NYSE and NASDAQ?
