Guys Im halfway thru registration on IBKR website but Im stuck at the ‘Signature’ section.. There’s no file dropbox or anything.. Its just keyboard oriented. I know this is dumb but how do I type out my signature lol using a keypad lol.
Any help? Pls.. |

yo guys I have Cimb sg. So how exactly do I deposit into IBKR?
Do I transfer directly from CIMB Sg to IB OR do I use Instarem? Also For 'sending institution part' on IB , what should I put? Thanks in advance lads ! |

Hi I keep getting this pop up saying I dont have "trading permisson" when trying to convert SGD to USD on TWS . Any help anyone?

Yo guys. I already converted SGD to USD this morning which was fast. Roughly around 1200 Usd now.
I ‘ordered’ & ‘ bought’ a few stocks like MGM & Fb but it’s still showing dark blue indication.. and I picked market order type. Been a few hours dy. Any reason why its not processing? |

Hi Guys seems like my ques got buried so I’ll post again la haha. Im 21 still studying, I know nothing bout tax. But got some funds and already invested and traded stocks.
Wanna know, When investing in US stocks like TSLA or even other countries like China etc Alibaba, do we have to pay tax. If so how & when? Like how do we go abt it? How does it work in Msia? Some sifu here can breakdown pls🙏🏻 Thx in advance guyss! |

Guys how do we go about withdrawing funds from IB to CIMB? Do I need to convert back USD to SGD then transfer to CIMB Sg?
Or do I just withdraw straight in USD without currency exchange to CIMB SG? Also, can withdraw directly into CIMB MY? How do I go abt this , someone help😅 |

Hey guys so for every buy and sell of shares I see 1.5 commission fees..What does that exactly mean? Like 1.5 usd charge per share bought?
Or like per trade? So lets say if I buy 100 shares of a stock, will I be charged only 1.5 usd for the entire order OR 1.5 per share? Can someone help me clarify this haha? Btw another post mentioned regarding subscription to market data, how do we know if we’re subscribed or not and if were charged monthly? |

Guys, I have been Swing/ day trading for few weeks now. And the cash not settled w 2-3 days wait is making me lose of on good profits 😖
Do you guys recommend margin acc? The thought of ‘borrowing leverage’ is scary to me cuz Im not familiar w it.. Anyone here as a trader mind sharing your experience on margin? Like whats the pros & cons you encountered? |

Hi yall. Question, should I have more than one brokerage account? Currently using IBKR, should I make a TD or other brokerage for ‘backup’ just in case?
If so, what other brokerage yall recommend? Or can I just create 2 accs for IB other same name? Opinions😅 |

Guys, help
For withdrawal, I cant seem to withdraw / connect IBKR to cimb sg bank.. It keeps saying ‘ you must supply bank information’ When I click the search button under Receiving Bank, 3 Cimb banks pop up.. Which do I choose? |
