A few days after I sent an inquiry via message inbox in IBKR login website, I received the following reply from IBKR:




Sigh, it seems that being a customer of Whitelabels such as TradeStation Global will deny us the customer support from IBKR.

I would prefer getting clarification from IBKR, rather than TSG, because the reply from IBKR should be more accurate.

Not sure. The only way I know is test and see. I know you can transfer from TSG to IB but not sure if reverse apply.

Just bear with it. Once you get usd200k, just transfer over to IBKR and forget you ever use TSG.

The difference in levels here. Bearing with TSG meanwhile I have to bear with Etoro/T212 haha

If I have UK bank account sure open an account with them already.

Yeah, I want to open an account with them but they're asking for a passport photo and my passport expired few years ago so not sure if its still considered valid as proof in this case.

Does it make sense to register under IBKR instead of TS if I were to take margin loan? Since IBKR margin loan is alot more cheaper? or is there some trick in IBKR's margin?

Loan amount 12k usd

IBKR 1.69% but need to pay monthly fees around 10 usd
TS around 9.5% but no need fees

Last time when you sent inquires to IBKR, IBKR did reply directly to you, via the message inbox, right?

Recently, that is no longer the case.

anyone using transferwise to fund IBKR? i just registered today and was informed we cant transfer due to change of verification partner. (was trying to transfer RM > SGD btw)

I confirm that it is not possible anymore to fund IBKR from Transferwise with EUR. "We cannot currently accept payments to this recipient" is the error message. The Transferwise's support was unable to provide the reason for this.
