QUOTE(petro5 @ Jul 8 2020, 12:29 PM) No, Transferwise did not allow to send money to the IBKR's account[attachmentid=10532820] I tried with currencies other than EUR and there was no such an error. It seems to allow the other IBKR's accounts. It still needs to check if a transfer will make it through.

QUOTE(solstice818 @ Jul 8 2020, 07:24 PM) Hey guys, anyone lodge a ticket before for missing dividends? How long does it take for them to reply and sort it? Are you 100% sure they missed? Ex-date and payment date is different.

I am opening an IB account. I believe it link me to IB Australia. Anyone can guide me how to fund IB account either from Malaysia Bank or Singapore Bank?
I tried to read more, but too complicated. Appreciate there is some simple steps.
Is anyone trying to withdraw money from IB to your bank account? Is it working? Need long time?

QUOTE(Ramjade @ Oct 1 2019, 10:39 PM) Just go with Whitelabels. Lite is only limited to US markets. You think I can hit USD10/month commision? No. That's why I opted to go with Whitelabels. Allow me the peace of mind of buying whenever I want and not forced buying. Another thread on whitelabels https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4744515The first thread is the original one with more info. Is ibkr good for day trader? Cause usd10 actually quite easily hit, just buy and sell 10 times only.

Actually i quite agree with one of the bros above that the info flow on the first page is quite massive and anyone new to ibkr would find it confuse....i copied tis link from the first post by ts, not sure if this is the whitelabels that everyone is referring to, but it seems that min trade is usd1.5? https://www.tradestation-international.com/...ng-commissions/On a separate note, i read some in this thread that ibkr lite is not applicable for singaporeans or malaysians right?

I had a similar thing happen. I got an email out of the blue from IB notifying me that I had to answer the Non-Professional Questionnaire within 5 days or I'd lose my data access. The only thing I could think of is my trading volume increased to 100+ trades/year from like 10.

Pure iB is usd0.35/ transaction with usd10 inactivity fees. Tradestation global is whitelabels of IB at USD1.50/transactions for US stocks with no inactivity fees.

So in summary, it means if you trade more than 7 times in a month then pure ib tiered pricing is good, if between 7 to 10 times then can consider pure ib fixed pricing, and if 6 transactions and below in a month then better choose Tradestation global. I think ib tiered is good for my case cause i easily trade 10 times in just a day. Btw, i just initiated the ibkr acc opening, doesnt seem there is an option to choose tiered pricing. I suppose i can choose it when i execute the trade? This post has been edited by z21j: Jul 10 2020, 03:38 PM
