Don't transfer straight from bank. Any bank. Or else @Ramjade will come and say "you like giving free money to banks "

Guys Im halfway thru registration on IBKR website but Im stuck at the ‘Signature’ section.. There’s no file dropbox or anything.. Its just keyboard oriented. I know this is dumb but how do I type out my signature lol using a keypad lol.

but I trade options, can't afford any delayed, one snapshot cost USD0.01, wow... how much to trade to get free live market data? anyone knows? I am confused

Omg I deposit 1000 USD using maybank. But then when reached my account only USD975. Called maybank and they said is not charged by them. IB charges on deposit?

i just opened the account via TSG.. in the IBKR, when do I upload our IC? Not comfortable sending it via email to TSG

I did not request to withdraw USD to my CIMB account because if I receive USD, I cannot transfer back to IBKR because they don't allow.
They only allow transfers between CIMB SG USD accounts. Super silly.
If you receive USD from IBKR, you will be forced to convert your USD at their undesirable exchange rate.

So, I convert all the USD to SGD then only transfer back to my CIMB SG account.
Then, I convert SGD to MYR and send to my CIMB MY account.

SGD amount sent by IBKR to CIMB SG is the same amount. The bank didn't take anything as fees.

i need email them to change it to cash account?

Unfortunately to open you need a work permit etc. I called the hotline and they said CIMB Malaysia can only link if you already have a SG account. Otherwise you can go the CIMB Preferred route but you need 250k to even begin lol

Does anyone know whether Tradestation and IBKR allow people to buy 1 unit of US stock? Usually its 100 units right?

I wanted to build a portfolio of FAANMG stocks but some are so expensive that I can only afford 1 unit. 

Actually now whitelabels can buy fractional shares. Just tested using IB.
