Successfully terminated my Unifi Air (without contract - sim only) package last week.

Terminated in 24hours.. but the refund needs 2-3 months.. -RM22.xx ok lar..

I need to clarify something here , unifi air and unifi mobile are the same thing right ?

Unifi Air doesn't have call airtime.
Unifi mobile have tethering quota.

If you just plan to use exclusively on mobile, then yes.

Unifi Air is more targeted for home use, eg. Multiple devices.

unifi air - postpaid. wireless broadband data only. unlimited quota, unlimited speed, unlimited hotspot
unifi mobile - postpaid plan. RM59 per month ( RM79 per month for non unifi Home Broadband customers) unlimited everything. except hotspot quota
unifi bebas - prepaid plan. RM35 unlimited promo until 31/12

You can use cellmapper app, to see network tower mast in your area supporting what 4G bands.

U use vpn or not? Check my internet IP address on router, it start with 10.164... which is private IP. Mind sharing yours?

Nope, no vpn. Dns I put 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1

My ip same as your 10.13.xx.xx

But if you to go whatsmyip.com said mine 42.xx.xx.xx pulak lol. I also noob in networking stuff

Oh ya mine currently wired though if that helps

Tired of trial and error but still didnt work out.

May I know what is the recommended device for unifi air for between RM200-350? I assumed without Mod since is illegal( risk get banned). Thank you

For that budget get a Huawei B310As-852 BUT make sure to check for Band 38 & Band 40 at your place since B310 852 dont detect Band 5. Can check lte band using Network Cell Lite app.
