How do you lock to B40?

By the way, what is your signal strength in dB?
*
I'm using Hmanager app. Paired with my Huawei modem. Idk about ZTE though

Strength is around - 100db

Currently I'm using the ZTE modem provided and felt that it is weaker than Huawei modem. Can anyone guide me how to change the band?
*

I checked it and found band 38 is the strongest one. However, I limit my ZTE modem to band 38 and the speed is totally unstable. Overall, ZTE modem performs badly compared to my phone.

Have you try test during peak hour, evening, or night ? If all test resulted speed above 7Mbps then go for it.

Buy bebas sim first and try for a week. Test the speed, and coverage during peak and non peak hours.

Yeah, yesterday test ady. Lowest I got during peak time 6mbps while others 7+. The line on my phone full bar but sometimes drop to 3 bar

Early morning around 2am only I saw the line drop to 2-3 bar, I check network cell lite app turn out I connected to band 5 tower

Band 5 not good enough, maybe can get a modem that locked the band 40, but if you satisfied with lowest 6Mbps from your testing then can subs to it.

The BEBAS plans can only go up to 8Mbps.
You can try testing it with the free daily 1GB, somehow that's unlimited in speed.

If band 5 is already that bad in your area, I doubt band 38 or band 40 would be any better?
