Just want to ask anyone here, I am planning to subscribe to Unifi Air but they keep insisting that my area have no coverage. I have been stuck with 4 Mbps Screamyx which is a torture for me and I do hope I get the upgrade to Unifi Air. I have tested my area with my Note10+ and iPad Pro and yes my area already have Band 40 activated this month. So I can get a really fast speed up to 80 Mbps in the morning, but they keep saying I cannot upgrade to it due to no coverage. So how I can solve this? I should have no problem to subscribe to Unifi Air rite? Seriously I cannot stand that 4 Mbps sampahmyx speed anymore.
If you insist, just place your order online through their website. Nobody gonna ask anything. Problem solved. Im still waiting for someone to review the ZTE router.
date : May 13 2020, check unifi air coverage, got covered (almost)

Now, no coverage. why lol... either a glitch or somebody didn't do their work properly haha
Now here's the thing, i use unifi mobile here, the LTE signal is full, speed is around 8-9Mbps as expected. Youtube 4K pon lepas punya. Does unifi air coverage be the same as mobile?
I think the top pic is unifi MOBILE coverage (it have the 3G/4G menu), while the bottom is unifi AIR coverage (run on 4G ONLY).
if unifi mobile u got 4G LTE sure can use unifi AIR. But do check what band u got.
That 8-9Mbps maybe on band 5 (not recommended), if u get band 40/38 it can reach above 20Mbps then baru berbaloi.
B818 or B618 is so expensive. Around 750-800, alamak. If I go for normal modem with 150mbps 2.4ghz, only 300+. But downside is, it won't get the max performance like B618/B818. Haiz, life is tough. Imagine getting the contract earlier and you can own that B618 for free. TM is so unethical. Now same package but low end modem and downgraded performance. Ya I agree it is god tier. But the price is high too. I would have got that B618 for free if I signed that contract earlier. Now can only makan sendiri.
I just missed the B618 modem package by one day only.
Want to register but discover that they change modem package "yesterday".
GGWP TM unifi.
Decided to buy the Tplink Mr200 on lazada 7.7 promo later
Hello guys, been follow some guideline here which bought a unifi mobile prepaid card for test. After testing, the result seems good. At my house downstair getting band 5 around 7-8mbps download speed. Also, testing at house upstair can get band 40 around 7-8mbps download speed. So i guess i can submit for Unifi Air even my house not in the coverage area? For modem is there any big speed differences for model b525 and b818? Thank you..
Seems like your speed has been capped. Try use the Free Daily 1GB pass and run speed test again since that pass is not capped. Then u'll know the real speed u'll get on unifi air.
For the purposes of Unifi Air, what's the difference between these models, which one is better ?
Im using the MR200, so far so good. Signal is great always 100%, no disconnect problem. On Band 40, download speed daily average 20mbps, midnight 45mbps, upload 5-8mbps. MR200 have 2 wifi output 2.4GHz & 5GHz(not "5G"). MR6400 only 2.4GHz.
Got my unifi bebas today. Tested using my b310 routers. Even subscribed free 1GB daily still fluctuating around 6-8Mbps. I think already connected to b40 band, as this router not support band 5. Not sure if unifi air can achieve at least 20Mbps.
Free data has been capped to 8mbps only. Buy the paid data to get the real speed.
My area has no fibre line and i am currently using Ma-SHIT Go Wifi. The speed is good at daytime but come night time, it is really shitty and lags badly. I am interested in Unifi-Lite since it offers unlimited data. May i know what is the speed that is getting and can i just plug-in into my existing TP Link modem? I believed buying the simcard does not require contract basis.
The speed depends on area/coverage. Im getting 20mbps, sometimes single digit only. If your TPLink can support 4G sim, its a go.
Thanks .. when you said single digit, what would be the number and do you encounter poor signal till date, like literally cut off?
Not cut off, sometimes (rarely) maybe during peak hours. Like 6-8mbps. Signal always full bar. Forgot to mention, any 4G modem with band 5/38/40 supported is a go.
I just thought whats the point of unifi Air RM83 (+taxed) if unifi Bebas monthly unlimited only RM35 (RM55 nonpromo) ? Same speed & same coverage. Does Bebas have any limitation or usage cap? Can save lot of money bruh
