I think coverage description in the website is true..

[attachmentid=10317219]

this is distance from my house to the 4G area..around 200m to 300m
this is my modem reading how bad the signal is..
getting B40..good ip address..but poor signal

RSRQ -13 fair
RSRP -90 good
SINR -4 fair

your signal consider good. band 40 should cover at least 1km following yes 4G LTE map.. move the router to some place not blocking tower direction.

Disclaimer : Mobile broadband coverage map(s) shown is(are) based on computer simulations outdoor at the street level and a minimum of 2.5Mbps download throughput based on 80% of the time, subjected to number of connected users, resource utilization at the base station and network availability. The actual coverage may vary depending on the surroundings, environmental obstructions, distance to the base stations, the actual location of customer’s mobile device within the building and the height in comparison to the serving base station height, and the structural type & age of the buildings. Such conditions will affect the actual coverage and customer experience.

The RM79 SIM only option they introduced recently is bad move. Without limiting the number accounts per area, somehow they will introduce some sort of throttling in the long run if things get out of hand like secretly limiting users speed with a non mentioned quota hidden as fair usage policy or some sort.

It might not happen now while it's still new but within 2 years anything can happen.

Some of us who experienced wireless solutions such as from DiGi & UMobile will know what i mean.

Unifi Air is TM solution for un-fiber streamix user as request by minister Gobin
30MHz of band 40 + 20MHz of band 38 should be good for 2 year.

True also.
Don't forget, 65d also supports b28 (700MHz). TM might interested in getting some of this spectrum after analogue switch off has completed and spectrum auction begins. If that really happens, Unifi air users that using Huawei b618-65d modem can get to enjoy service from this 700MHz band right after its base station is up and running, on top with 850MHz and others.
*
but band 38 & 40 have more bandwidth. unifi air design for fixed wireless terminal at home. limited coverage can solve with external antenna. TM no stranger with external antenna start from TM-Will, TM-CDMA, TM-EVDO, External antenna for unifi air should't be a problem.

Guys. Need all the expert here for help.
After sign up to Unifi Air. I pair the sim with my own 4G modem. (Tenda 680v2) But as u all can see. It connected to the LTE and have 4bar signal and all. But I just can’t get into the internet. My place are just few Km away from the blue spot. I tried several method like set up APN, update modem firmware and factory reset but none of it works. Do you guys have any idea what other problem could be?
*

coverage maps as a guide only.
Your place under LTE coverage with -97 RSRP whatever it means
disconnected
double check APN setting page

Still not work, insert AIR sim card inside phone. make sure phone show LTE / 4G not 3G
APN unifi

Must disconnected to change APN setting

How come tm allowed you to apply Unifi air ?
My location is out of coverage area by only 30metres away.
*
wireless coverage map area is computer generated la. no one going around checking where the coverage end.

YES put this at their coverage page.

Help needed rclxub.gif  Subscribed to Unifi Air (sim card only) and I am using Huawei B315 Router.
The error I encounter is "Connection failed. The profile is invalid. Please contact your service provider".
I have already contacted TM but they can't help me since I am not using the router provided by TM. APN is already defaulted to unifi, but it just don't seems to work. Anyone with tips of what should I do?
Thanks.

profile celcom

Already tried everything I think, unplug and plug again. It still won't turn on. I hope the adapter is the problem, not the device itself.

check adapter very easy la
multimeter or 12v bullb will do

So when you are inside non Unifi Air coverage area, could you please check your network service provider is still under Unifi or Celcom?
Sometimes I came across some ppl say if don't have unifi coverage area, it will roam to Celcom network... But I'm not sure 3G or 4G.. Perhaps you can check it too also for your knowledge too..

Correct me if I'm wrong...
*
4G is TM unifi webe 50211 502153
3G 2G is Celcom

very simple

setting network to 4G LTE only it will stay 4G LTE or no service.

Unifi roaming to celcom 4G is fake news.

does the unifi air and unifi mobile share the same network? im currently on unifi mobile unlimited with my p30 pro and my area get average of 10mbps speed only even though signal is 5 bars, will the speed be better if i go for unifi air? or do i need to get the HUAWEI b618 to unlock better speed?
*
yes same network but AIR have higher VIP priority than mobile unlimited.

I see. The problem for me would be that I couldn't know exactly the average speed I would get as bebas capped the speed at 8mbps. I just know that the fact my house got lte + band 40. And it definitely get around 8mbps cuz of limit. I'm hoping to get more speed with unifi air tho. Band 40 seems gud for unifi air based on previous replies I got, so might be worth getting unifi air I guess?
*
just wait until 23 jun after free monthly unlimited pass expire.
if really can't tahan get unifi air sim card only.

I just finished my 24months contract with Celcom Home Wireless XL 150GB RM150 last month. I'm thinking to change to cheaper option Unifi Air SIM only RM79 using my Celcom router B618S-22D. Is it possible?
*
nope.
You have to return that modem to celcom.
