Hi I just applied for personal loan 5k from maybank with interest rate at 11% to clear my 4.5k credit card debt. Duration of loan is 1 year.

My financial commitment
1.) Housing loan RM 1.1k/month
2.) Car loan rm750/month

My pay is rm4k and the bank approved my PL immediately, now I have to pay rm460/month for 12months to clear this PL.

You this my move is right?

You can try apply with other bank for lower rate. That will save you at least 50-100 for the interest. 11% is too high. Got 1 forumer able to offer 7.5% PL, by Standard Chartered. Read back previous post.

Hi,

I think the 10.5% you are referring to CashOne or either self apply from branch or website. I am offering 7.5% flat from Quick Cash Edge.

If you apply QCE through branch or online you will not enjoy the 7.5%. Must go through me. Kindly be noted.

My friend was attended by someone from SCB personally and that 10.5+% is the effective interest rate.

Meaning total interest paid over loan = 10.5%+

The person from SCB must be from PL or Unsecured Loan Department. I am from Employee Banking Program, and under EBP only our customers enjoy 7.5% flat rate p.a. You can ask your friend to contact me and I can process his loan for 7.5% flat rate p.a.

im looking for personal loans to build a house at my wife kampung. need around 30k.

thing is, im staying in JB but working in singapore. i heard its hard to get approval if you are working overseas.

salary 3.5k SGD (currently at least getting rm 8k per mnth after exchange to rm)

commitment
credit card = outstanding rm 32k (paying 1.8k monthly)
house = rm 580
tax = rm200
al rajhi & aeon loans = RM450

any advise?

secondly, is it wise to do a balance transfer (like ambank, 8.99% which then i might eligible to get free Digital Camera & Mobile phones worth at least 4k) to settle my credit card instead paying 1.8k monthly ? im surviving each month but at the moment i cant save a single cents.
