1. Is there such a software that records whether we have burned the files onto dvd or not? Coz, sometime i forgot that i haven't burn the files and end up deleting them all .. ..or sometimes i wasted another dvd thinking that it is not burned yet 2. How about a software that can 'think' for us how to fit a bunch of files onto a dvd/cd. For example, there are 3 files (350MB, 250MB, 400MB). Then it automatically 'finds' the files that can fit into the CD, 700MB. (e.g: 350MB+250MB or 250MB+400MB) Want to store anime & jap doramas ...but too lazy to think how to fit them all nicely * I'm not talking about resizing the files This post has been edited by mmohdnor: Jul 28 2007, 03:17 PM

doesn't make sense to waste time making a software when people can calculate on their own. but seriously, i think all burning software will inform you if content cannot fit.

QUOTE(arafat @ Jul 28 2007, 10:08 PM) i just noticed my mobo got one bad cap.. does anyone knows what this cap function for? should i replace it? AN8-ULTRA i think it's either for PCI slot (most likely) or floppy disk connector as these 2 are the most nearest component can be found .

Just bought 2nd hnd 14inch monitor last week. Its dead just now, when power swich turned on, LED lighting about 1 second then off back. Thats mean no prob regarding power cable, and nothing to do with the PC. Q= Can it be repaired?

yes you can. just de-solder the connectors, find a similar capacity (rating in micro farad) capacitor and solder it back on i fixed a few old mobos that has leaking caps before Added on July 29, 2007, 12:14 amQUOTE(bulibulizaimon @ Jul 29 2007, 12:11 AM) Just bought 2nd hnd 14inch monitor last week. Q= Can it be repaired? it's cheaper to buy another old one rather than trying to fix it. 14" can be bought for as low as rm 30 (generic) ad rm50 (branded) This post has been edited by lucifah: Jul 29 2007, 12:14 AM

If it have no problem, leave it, my old Albatron (don't remember its full name, P4 s478) have two leaking caps besides the CPU socket. But it still OK till this day, desoldering motherboard capacitor is hard, the solder isn't the same as we used to solder DIY stuff, its harder to melt. It can be done, but takes me half an hour to desolder only one caps

QUOTE(bornd @ Jul 30 2007, 12:26 PM) so.. it mean.. i still have to connect thru wired meh? well ur router must be connected to a modem wat, and this have to be done with a network cable, unless the wireless router u have also has built in modem, then u can connect to the internet using wireless directly through lor if u dun really understand wat i'm saying, i would also like more description, cos the answers are based on wat i understand from ur posts not too clear on wat u mean by ur area using wired lan, and u want to connect to them
