1. Is there such a software that records whether we have burned the files onto dvd or not?
Coz, sometime i forgot that i haven't burn the files and end up deleting them all .. 2. How about a software that can 'think' for us how to fit a bunch of files onto a dvd/cd. For example, there are 3 files (350MB, 250MB, 400MB). Then it automatically 'finds' the files that can fit into the CD, 700MB. (e.g: 350MB+250MB or 250MB+400MB) Want to store anime & jap doramas ...but too lazy to think how to fit them all nicely * I'm not talking about resizing the files This post has been edited by mmohdnor: Jul 28 2007, 03:17 PM |

this is to answer my own question in the v1 thread ..
i finally found a nifty software that figures out what's the optimum file configuration when burning a cd/dvd (e.g: maximize dvd space usage) .. with this software, u just need to drag in a bunch of files into it and it will generate for you the optimum file configuration for a cd/dvd .. it really makes your life easier when u have bunch/loads of files (e.g: video/documents/mp3/etc) and u dont wanna spend time to think how to maximally fit ur files onto a dvd the software is called 'SizeMe 2.0' ...and can be downloaded here : http://lars.werner.no/?page_id=2 so far, i'm impressed with the tool. it keeps all my dvd's to be 95% fully utilized ... hehe .. * just dump in the files/folders .. generate the list ...and drag the generated file list onto ur dvd burning software (nero, etc) QUOTE(mmohdnor @ Jul 28 2007, 03:11 PM) 2.
