Stop trying to blame your customer, I just got the laptop from you last week, means your technician wrongly installed drivers? I would be glad to send in the laptop but I'm over at Perlis at this moment, having waited for the laptop since April and it missing the ETA for 15 days, it's really a bummer. I would appreciate it if u can ask the technical team to provide me methods to self diagnose before sending it to you
Hi, I am also having the same problem with you. I think im the first customer to post regarding the fan not kicking in issue (13th May). I told them the fan would not kick in at all even after playing games after a while. Always have to manually activate fan boost, which is a hassle. I told them they might need to recall this Raven SE-R if this problem affects all Raven SE-R. After reading multiple user's posts confirms that it is a patented defect out from the factory. But I hope Illegear can come out with a solution with a bios update or a software update.
If they won't do anything about it though, I'll be switching back to my Asus FX503VM (equipped with a 1060 3GB) will sell this Illegear instead of my old Asus.
Honestly, this issue was a big deal to me as I am no longer enjoying this laptop due to this problem. Even just less than a month of owning im thinking of selling it due to this issue. Sad because I had really did not expect it to come to this. I guess what I can say is if you want to go for reliability, go for Asus. They're the Toyota of the laptop world. And Illegear to me, seems like a China made brand car.
To end my post, I'll attach my "thermal receipts". Playing Red Dead Redemption 2 for a mere 5 mins with "game mode" which was supposedly to regulate my laptop by increasing the fan speed.
