I think it is better to wait until July, when the new rule for e hailing. From what read from the blue taxi samsing head, all e hailing cars will be converted to taxi with distinct marking on the car with APAD ID. Need to take 6 hr theory couse and practical test, Puspacom inspection, SPAD convertion to "taxi" to get APAD ID and insurance ...it is quite a process. I m doing part time. Looks like I can't be doing that after July 12.

In the other hand, I have nothing except your name Robert, that is not even your full name and your destination. As far as our safety is my concern, your verification is needed before I agree to step my gas paddle and send you off to anywhere you have requested In the apps. I might have pickup a wrong person rather than the real Robert whom requested the ride via the apps at the first place. Now is that too much for me to ask?

The requirements for CRAP driver is clearly stated in the website and also in the apps. The thing that they failed to tell you is about the rates. I have made a calculation based on today's event. Take note that is is at normal hour. I agree that some sifus here said during normal hour, all driving IS charity.

i only confirmed with either their crapcar app user id or their destination....only confirm one of the item will do...so far so good 4 me...no picking up wrong riders.

I used 2 confirmed with rider whether they wanted me to follow Waze or used their own route when I still driving Uber (suggested by some YouTuber in western countries)...answer I get from few riders were similar to your rider, ie “u don’t know how to use Waze meh?. Want me teach u?”

so I don’t ask that question anymore. none of the drivers I meet asked that question.

What happened to me yesterday is a bit traumatising. Hence, I want to be safe rather than sorry.

in special scenario like drivers ask riders to step out from cars before reaching destination due to bad behavior etc, u can call crabcar office to cancel the trip. u can’t cancel your own after starting trip but the office can.
crapcar office woukd need 2 call rider as well to confirm what happen b4 canceling.

after cancel, in your app history would show “cancel by operator”. this is better for drivers so that riders can’t give u 1 star rating.

only ask riders to step out from your car in situation u really can’t tahan. cause in crapcar world, riders are the king.

May i know if we driver cancel a trip will get cancel rate shot up, if rider cancel the trip what is going to happen on them??
Second, will it be if we drivers keep cancelling ping grab throw to us..in the system register us as backup driver or anything as such?

The screw is trying to screw the nut when 6 seaters can only have option of Just Grab or 6 seaters .

( NO PLUS where this means if you are on Just Grab where not only you take a pay cut of 30% but you get Grab Share ) & ( Grab Plus and Grab 6 seaters would not get the Crap Share requests)

Sejarah Hari itu : Had a trip request of Grab Share where it was from Mount Kiara to Puduraya with fare of Rm13 at peak hour 7pm. The journey would have taken at least 30 minutes over the distance of more 10km where I duly cancelled. My meaningful reason being I am not a nut......

Getting a Grab Share is a no TQ job where the riders might get annoyed with other pick ups from other sharing ride, giving you 1 star, Even if no other pickups, what is your expectation from these kind of riders? And what were they thinking when getting Grab share during peak hours where the drivers would be deprive of any chance of time boost? And as the case mentioned above, how many nut drivers would take a job with his 6 seaters cars to get a job with a payout of just Rm13 half hour job where the cost of petrol would be higher in the peanut jam.

Lastly, the cost of owning and to maintain 6 seaters is higher than Just Grab Saga and Plus cars from Honda City to Proton Persona. It takes more gas to move from PUP to drop off.

Then I went for shopping and teh tarik. it was 8.10pm where I got a trip request for less than 2km ride which i completed within less than 3 minutes which the pickup was where I was. The fare was Rm12.

Comparing with 30 minutes or more in peak hours at 7 pm at Rm13 Grab Share, I happily share this story that Charity ride is given to deserving cause which does not cause any losses to the giver and receiver.
