I'm not sure the exact amount but could be abt few hundred ppl at this moment & will hire more this year as lots of migration will be in, the reason because it's 24/7..

24/7 = means the company is operating 24 hours per day and 7 days a week. Hence the man power required might increase when time comes.

BTW any1 working in this field and is offered RM3.5k+/- ? Please provide company name biggrin.gif

got a call from them for an interview appointment, and was told that salary is 1.6k only.

Its quite low isnt it? I read previous pages about language allowance... what does that mean?

and is it likely to transfer to other HSBC finance department?

Lastly, will this be a good start for fresh grads?

Hi there,

Yeap, the salary will be low at the starting but its depends on which department you are working under. Some their increments and bonus are good and some another way round. For those who have zero working experience this might be a good start to fill it into your CV for your future job reference. They do provide transportation for Cyberjaya branch so its quite convenient for those who plan to take public transport.

Cheers

Actually I'm fresh grad from finance department so I'm wondering whether this job will help in my resume.

Actually the title GSE stands for Global Support Executive..so GSE doesn't mean must be base at contact centre, could be back end process.
cristiano7mu....yup, you're right, GSE securities is HSS (HSBC Security Service).

I went and according to them, we are working as a team. if u r a chinese speaker, then you will be working for Hong Kong team.

It is a back end office work, means u hav to face your PC whole day, serving HSBC business partner on securities about their entitlement and so on.

payment formatting - referring to swift payment e.g MT202, MT566, MT103, and some other swift that related to payment.
existing cash process - movement of cash between institutional. e.g bank A to bank C through bank B , routing, final beneficiary, swift bic code e.g HBMBMYKL for hsbc msia, suspense account, write off etc etc.
RVP (receipt vs payment), DVP (delivery vs payment) for trades etc etc..

hmmmm, you cant enter the 8th floor without a pass, so best if you check with reception on 6th floor first. they'll probably gather all of you up for photos & pass creation.
