back end - if ure lucky during interview then u will get into their Centre of excellence department. e.g corporate actions..securities...good prospects (benefits e.g professional certs [company pay everything] and overseas training). IF NOT , u will end up some job like replying emails or some boring stuff.

call center - dealing with calls from uk , us , south east asia..depends which department u will get..(ask during interview)

they will provide aggressive training...study..study...tests ...exams..mostly around 1month...depends how fast u learn..(no worries as it is a training so if do mistake is no prob at all.)
can ask them also whether u want to work in kl or not (for back end job i think)..they got placement there near bursa malaysia at bukit kewangan..

transportation provided..
allowance depends on which department u get in..different process different allowance...the more critical process...the more u'll get.
centre of excellence is their critical processes....accuracy is EVERYTHING..so u can imagine how tough it is.but its ok.after training sure no prob.hehe

the benefits will be more when u work there longer..
salary will double according with ur gred...e.g this gred u will get this salary..n then u promoted..ur salary double plus allowance bla bla..
work environment is good if youre friendly n kind to other people.
if youre stand out, visible and hardworking..u will get extra rewards..

if ure lucky u will get normal working hours...if not ..u will be BATMAN !! hahahahah
if u get into hong kong or taiwan department..its normal working hours...9am - 6pm..or 11am - 8pm ....(U WILL WORK ACCORDING TO YOUR DEPARTMENT CALENDAR ..meaning that if hong kong...follow hong kong public holidays..hong kong ok la ..got 13-14 days public hols...hong kong peak season is Nov..other month ok...if im not mistaken UK less than 10 days public hols i think...)

food/beverage - cafeteria is so so..but cyberjaya bus terminal got lot choices..n streetmall too. in office got vending machine..all drinks FOC..got foosball table.

basically we know which field we are interest with....choose the right field and build ur career path..

that is basic salary only..3k/per month...bonus (performance based) n allowance not include.
level 8..hmm executive level..but i think got experience already oo..meaning senior already lor..

actually level 8 is executive..7 assistant manager..6 manager ...and so on...
basic salary will be double up from current each time u get promote to the next level...about allowances it depends which department and process u go...if critical process there will be extra allowance..it is always possible to get salary increment by year..but if u want to nego it should be during the interview..after offer letter come out how to nego lor...
in your case level 8 with 36k i think it is with experience is it?
and also...the level..e.g 8 is just indicator only...and generally called global support executive...but u may work in call center...securities..or other department that available..so many ohh department...depends la what u want to do and what u told the interviewer u want what kind of job...surely they ask u..if u go to centre of excellence ok la..got allowance for that..if normal department..nothing much ar...i think allowance is around 200 monthly..

centre of excellence is the department where company give extra focus on.they monitor each n every single thing happened in the department n the progress of work...ususally the allowance is given after probation period..i think 6 months.for global support exec..if u assigned to call center im not sure about the allowance.but if securities department there will be an allowance.summore if u pass some test u will be given extra allowance..the benefits will be more n more la when u stay longer in company...the thing is whether u can tahan or not la the situation..it depends also..some ppl resigned..some ppl like to stay..

if securities nothing much oo..lot of work only ar..but if u can handle it ok ar..not directly contact with customer..just behind the scene onli oo..

no OT? aik.dunno la bro.but my department got OT lor..im not from call center le.n then about the double up each level..actually it is double up.
for instance..level 8..let say u get 2k..n then after promotion to assistant manager... will jump to 4k (starting).

the increment annually if u not jump to level 7..(of course freshies need 1 year experience or maybe more)..will be like 10.x - 11.x % annually..
plus..actually the senior level 8(e.g 3 years of level 8 seniority)..the salary will not much different with assistant manager...

summore if u complete UK professional paper test..there will be 3 paper..u will get 200 per paper..meaning u will get 600 like dat..every month...as allowance..n summore got security allwowance....thats for my department lor...

got this one manager he only manage 8 months being an assistant manager..n then jump to manager..coz his performance..like V power oo.hehe.

but then again if u live far from CJ it is true it will be a boring la to naik bas n spend few hours ..if u drive oso consume lot of petrol..if u stay near CJ ok la..

in case of this, it will be base on ur seniority..the senior u are the higher u get ler...of course...u start with 3k..for sure u r not a fresh grad rite..u get 36k annually n with experience..of course company will track ur performance by time(evryone kena oo)..n if not satisfy less bonus or less increment..but if doing ok, it is yes in double up salary which follow last basic salary...(meaning that u r senior (age) as assistant manager..)

for example..age 24(join 22 (2k)...work 2 years)..n then become assistant mngr at 24...rm4k+..(quite hard to achieve this but its happened in my dept.)
age 27(join 25 (3k) ..work 2 years + got 3 years experience)..n then become asistant manager at 27...rm6k+

ooo ic..coz my fren from uk process told me bout dat quarter bonus..
i dunno ler bout call center..but usually if one process is not going well..home country will bring back bcoz they dun wan to waste money outsource..

hm..credit card no need to pay annual fee..n then u can save ur monthly savings in Sharesave plan..where the money can be use to buy HSBC shares at 20% disc. from market price...

dunno bout call center ..but IMO if u work in call center n then u jump another company n work in call center i think no different what..in terms of knowledge u still can apply rite..
for back end..as far as i can see for Securities they can go to other securities dept in bank..or investment bank or trade services..depends luck oso lor..but the knowledge is the same oo if u continue same field later..

fyi, processing centre is where the cost-cutting take place..

salary , bonuses, transportation etc etc..its all cost
they wont pour so much money pay this n that to employee..

now must bring mug to office..heh..luckily they gave hsbc mug..so u can see la rite..

to soulmate, if u can stay on bus everyday or drive to cyberjaya..or your salary too way low from stated advert u can give a try..
if u want to join call centre there..think twice la..read all the posts here..
if back end job...if u lucky enough u will get good boss la..

if u hv related experience ..u can demand more ..definitely..
