I NEVER SEE before their CEO or boss come out like maxis do video say sorry about the different price but same package.

If you want to say sorry, customer should pay RM500 termination fee (if got contract) and say sorry to TM.
P.S Now who is the fault aa? I feel the situation is opposite way already, right? shocking.gif

Well if there is no viable alternative and you're a home owner then I don't see any problem for a contract period.
I'm a homeowner but others situation may differ.
For me, I would be happy to pay less upfront and get a modest speed bump. Not worry about the contract because TM agents will always want to entice customers by offering special pricing.

If you're in high-rise, try to get price reduction to RM119 30M or RM129 50M.

Some will have to renew contract. Or look at options from Maxis and Time if available.

I agree if there is no viable alternative but TM. However some area may have Time coming in as they expand. So the final choice is on the user.

That's what im doing atm. I switch my focus from turbo to std20. Im running amok over them at livechat. Just told a staff calling from local Tmpoint to fxxk herself.

This is because they have been allowed to do what they want for so long without any checks and balances. Only now they are forced to reduce prices. This is what competition does. This is what happens when there is proper authority overseeing and taking action.

I think their whole idea is not to reduce prices. This is why 10X came into the picture. Just to make users excited about high speeds while they keep high prices. Look at Streamyx users still paying those prices.

Its interesting that there must be so many complaints to MCMC about these unfair pricing and they must be aware of it. But they do not come out with a strong instruction to standardize the pricing. They just report what prices are now available which we already know anyway.

And look at all the trouble that users and customer service etc have to go through to change packages or get price reduction. It can be done much easier from their side without all this unnecessary work. But I think the idea is to hope not all users will find out details. That is why I think we should all let other users know what they can do.

Yes, chances are many would have moved to another provider if a suitable alternative was available. And if you're waiting for turbo, you are probably going to stay with Unifi for some time. So a new contract is not such a big deal. Even if you are going to move, you can relocate Unifi if available at the new place.

Anyway, since you can get full speed on new 850L, DON'T EVER TOUCH that QOS menu!

Keep us updated whether or not you successfully request for free STD after turbo, or do they require you to change package and sign another 2 years contract.

That's what I did last Friday 2 November 2018. I went there at 10.30AM and insist on meeting the manager to get a solid answer on when can I get my Turbo upgrade
Told them I won't leave until i get a definite answer. Today got the Turbo SMS but it's not the promised package

That can happen sometimes. Do a cold boot up of all networking devices plus the STB.. If that still doesn't resolve it.. Just have to wait a day or 2 for it to resolve itself.

Because that 30M package should get turbo to 300M later. The RM129 100M not eligible for turbo.

Can you clarify? You seem to be asking for STD20 insted of turbo. YoungMan seems to be asking for STD20 after turbo.

Guys, quick question. Finally my house got unifi coverage. But only for 30mbps for 139. How come I see people pay less than that for 30mbps. And when I check unifi website. 30mbps only for 79. So confusing.

Just apply for 100Mbps for RM 129.

30Mbps for RM 79 is with quota and will be implemented in next year.

Nothing to say TM is part of gomen..
Unless there are another service provider using copper line like Streamyx... Else TM will just ignore for it.

Eventually if want to standardize the pricing, mcmc should enforce for it.. Else, mcmc need to give serious penalty to the service provider. Unfortunately, mcmc did not enforce for this, only highlight 10x speed reduce price...

If mcmc can control the fiber pricing like control the price of rice or petrol, then I don't think this will be happening..

Who told yu abut the package? From a call from agent / reseller?

You can try to call 100 sales department and ask them what is available for you.

Mine is landed. Got the offer from tm official guy itself. At first, I request for 100mbps for 129. But after checking this and that, they told me my area only can cover up to 30mbps only at the moment.
