unifi guys came, tests... tplink ac1200 can do 800-820mbps - with his laptop.

i think i couldnt get becos the device i used rated giga maxed out at 650.

i have no other device with gigaport for LAN.

the guys were nice, change the router to dlink dir842 (he took back the tplink) - this one also did 820, wifi a bit stronger.

so... when somebody says he/she can't get 800mbps LAN, first question gotta be "what device"!
btw, do u know if this dir842 can serve as repeater or AP?

just thinking longer term how to make use of this dlink 842 and my asus 1300uhp.

how to apply this ? go to TM Point or just make a phone call ?

i subscribe to 100mbps rm129 , thereafter i got turbo-ed before the subscription of 100mbps take into effect

now am forced to pay for my turbo package, cannot downgrade to rm129 unless go tmpoint again

such stupid company

Is is a standard to have free std20 for 800 mbps

Didn't the old 100M already have STD20? Check in customer portal.

just back from tm point menara tm bangsar..

they say my area no support fiber for 100mbps...only copper.. maximum 30mbps.

so tm offer me renew contract with rm119 = 30mbps

plan same with previous rm129 = 10mbps..no call free no hypptv

current plan on unifi acc is "unifi 30Mbps non-fiber plan"

so far happy la..what to do.. no 100mbps my area..

It is your laptop that is limiting the speed then. Interesting. DIR842 can definitely serve as an AP or repeater probably.

TM doesn't allow me to change my unifi tv from ultimate pack to other cheaper pack. I think it's because they don't want me to pay too cheap. Otherwise my package will be rm139 for 500mbps. Now paying rm169. They keep saying cannot, is there such thing?? Should I complain to mcmc?
