forgot to mention bout my rig (mobo = Biostar TA690, =RAM Patriot PC6400 but tried @940Mhz o.k) , PSU=cooler master 430W. Might try pushing it higher but want to stress the cpu more to check stability . One thing was after 2500Mhz had to reduce Ram speed from DDR800 to DDR533 or else could not boot. Tried increasing DDR volt but unable to post. Last time had weird problem when cpu multi was at 10.5x .

Asus announce that several mobo like my M2N32 Sli Deluxe and M2N-E can be used for AM2+ after BIOS update. I am aiming for Quad Core Phenom soon.

Mr_47, we have similair setup. I reach 2.83ghz stable. Quite hard to go up. Please advise how much vcore i need to put for 2.9-3.0. My current vcore is 1.46 (but i set 1.44).

i thought phenom can be used already for AM2 mobo??only got few features not available??

edit:M2N32-SLI shouldn't be prob to reach 3.0Ghz i think as it can pump up higher Vdimm compared to M2N-E.maybe u should lower a bit ur HT multiplier??

i dont think u can find it anywhere, basically, divider means fsb:ram frequency. say.. 200fsb : DDR400 = 1:1 divider. 400fsb : DDR400 = 2:1 divider, keep in mind that DDR represents the effective clockspeed. Example, DDR2 667 is actually achieved by 333mhz X 2.

actually,i felt a bit diffrence when orthosing using AMD proc compare 2 intel...it seems much smoother and much faster to load program while orthosing.

thought to used this brisby rather than giving to my brother edi..and got him ANOTHER proc+mobo laugh.gif

its been a while ive dumped my amd and now i feel the difference!! rclxm9.gif
