what is your max speed ?  hmm.gif
*
Maximum I can reach 10 MiB/s but constant around 7 MiB/s when no capped.

When capped, it is 1.7 MiB/s.

Above is normal site download speed as I don't play torrent.

MCO time a lot as I had request 3 times quota reset.

Hello guys, I learned recently that TPlink MR600 now has beta firmware that should be able to manually select/lock band for example lock B5/B38/B40 for Unifi Air or manual 4G+ CA with B3+B7 for Digi i150 users

https://www.tp-link.com/my/home-networking/...i/archer-mr600/

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum...c/205912?page=1

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum...c/193174?page=4 (scroll to post #41 for test results)

however beta firmware is for EU model only right now, and I don't have the device to test. Not sure works or not on MR600 MYset. According to TPLink website, MYset use EU V1 firmware which should be able to test this Beta firmware.

https://www.tp-link.com/my/support/download/archer-mr600/

TP-Link MR600 has very good spec and support most telco in MY and tplink has 3 year local warranty which is excellent. But people sleeps on their router and mifi coz unable to lock band like Huawei.

If MR600 (MY set) soon be able to get lock band feature. I think this model will be good alternative to B618s and B818 for power users. Priced is RM500 right now

so has u try is it getting 4G+ connectin on your digi line.

huawei modem got it's own value in there. lock band features and signal statistic, more friendly user if someone looking for speed wise and how to setup the modem on correct way. b715 also rm5xx,

not to said said, those huawei 4g+ is 4x4mimo internal antenna. biggrin.gif

It is temporary, DiGi already stop doing this on May, 2020.

Now in month of June, 2020, I can assure again it didn't capped after 300 GB.
My modem is only 4G no + yet. This is the correct speed I get when no capped.

user posted image

This is the speed I get after being capped. It is back to normal only capped after spend 1 TB of data.

I don't mind the 300GB or 1TB capped speed because I have never exceeded 200GB. Max only around 150GB.
I'm more concerned on the throttled speed during peak hours as I use soc-med and YouTube a lot.

I never face throttled speed before, so no idea on that.

Even I finish quota of 1 TB and in capped, I still manage to stream Netflix and YouTube in 4K anytime.
It just take a few mins to full resolution when in capped instead of instant when no capped. So I am fine with that.

I seen people comment before throttled is kind of bad in KL, I can only said I am lucky as I am not stay at KL area.

Maxis wise in my area now is freaking bad, throttle all the time especially recently.

I had no issue too before MCO when I was in PJ, high speed all the time. During this MCO, I have not used Infinite 150 at all. Paid for nothing. laugh.gif

That was lucky because Digi Infinite memang caps P2P speed to 64kbps since day 1.

Anybody having port forwarding issues with Digi Infinte 150 using Huawei B618-65D modems? I used to be able to log into my home VPN from outside but lately not able to do so. Check my port 1194 to find it is not open.

Modems are usually rated at 12V/2A (VxA = 24W) so how can it consume more electricity

Anyone experience this kind of disruption where certain websites are smooth, but others are bad?

Can see from my tabs, where going into lazada, yahoo mail. gmail have failed, but my youtube surfing is instant! I had to restart my modem and everything is smooth again, but after a while, the disruption appears again where sites fail to load, but youtube has no issue.

Do digi throttle users based on the website we access? I've used roughly 700gb of data this months. I called digi but they assured me no such throttle was being applied, but they insist I only use digi infinite 150 on a phone rather than on a modem.

I see.
And how many gb of data you've used this month already?

I'm still having the same problem now. Only youtube is ok, everything else very erratic and unstable. Not sure if its digi problem, or my account.
