Most small families and single bachelor users won't touch anything near 300GB.

Why some of these One Prime users were consistently able to break 300GB in utilization was because they were renting out their sub lines to other people/family members to be used as fixed line alternatives.

Even nowadays with direct downloading imposed, content providers are capping users daily with streaming contents such as imposing max 10GB with free VPNs or DDL files to safeguard their servers.

300GB is a lot that is difficult to abuse if you already have fibre at home and at work in the office to offload your mobile line.
*
It quite easily to reach 300gb monthly if you stream 1080p60 on twitch for 2-4 hour on working day and more on weekens/holiday. Just ytday stream twitch like 4-5 hour already ate my quota like 10-11gb ,using celcom atm.

Did you not say MNP to Digi prepaid? For prepaid, it can be done at Digi center only.
*
Ya i was asking for mnp to prepaid...so it can be only done at center unlike postpaid?because i thought both is the same can do on9

''''''' Here's how the streams break down on average.

Low quality video is very low-quality. think 240p or 360p. Low-quality settings will use about 0.3GB (300MB) per hour.

SD quality video is standard 480p video. SD-quality video uses about 0.7GB (700MB) per hour.

HD quality video is between 720p and 2K (remember, the app adjusts the stream). HD-quality video uses about 0.9GB (720p), 1.5GB (1080p) and 3GB (2K) per hour.

UHD quality video uses a lot of data. A 4K stream uses about 7.2GB per hour.

.

Afaik;

In general, 360p/SD video quality is good enough for the 6" screen of smartphones; 720p/HD is good enough for 14" laptops; 1080p/FHD is good enough for 21" desktop monitors and large TV up to 55" and 4k/2160p/UHD is needed for screens larger than 55", eg projectors.

For those who watch videos on large TV of more than 55", they need to stream at 4k/2160p/UHD. A 1-hour video = 7GB of data consumed. 4-hours daily = about 30GB. 1 month = about 900GB.
....... So, the Digi Infinite 150 phone/modem plan boleh pakai in this case since throttling to 5Mbps only happen when exceeded 1TB of data used per month. Otherwise go for unlimited TM Unifi  Home Fiber or other Home Fiber plans.

I'm not sure whether watching Live TV or Live sports from the web uses more data than the above figures.
.

PS - https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/78358?hl=en

''''''' The table below shows the approximate speeds recommended to play each video format.

Video Resolution/Recommended sustained speed
4K  ...............20 Mbps
HD 1080p  ... 5 Mbps
HD 720p  ... 2.5 Mbps
SD 480p ... 1.1 Mbps
SD 360p  ... 0.7 Mbps '''''''

Other video-streaming sites may have different or higher speed recommendation.

I know right. That is what I saw from the DiGi website. Fortunately, there are kind souls like yourself who help clear up the confusion.

just a guess -
the new 150 plan free unlimited upgrade is probably "up to 1TB" but still restricted to the 3 device etc.
the RM10 sounds like at the very least is to remove the device cap.

(i did not go through t&c if it's applicable to the free promo or the RM10 addon)
*
I think both option is same, they must be mixed it wrong somehow...from what i heard the add-on is free but contract tied

wrote months ago; nothing beneficial will come out from merger.
Gone is the Digi that was innovative.
I expect the merged behemoth will eventually just turn into a clone of old inflexible Celcom, which is leading the merged entity.
*
Celcom before merge line already cipek already, now combine line lagi unstable, not sure what the point of merge.

Merge also nothing new, they still doing there separate way on prepaid/postpaid/broadband

Just go lepak their postpaid section, seem infinite plan only left infinite 65 and 85 option?

What happen to those subscribe to old plan that is 100 or above, just downgrade or what?

Did Digi got tied Infinite plan with contract if taking device? I not familiar with Digi before, if got this then really kantoi for those tie with contract biggrin.gif

Am still using old Maxis Postpaid 98 plan. Maxis has been giving free 5G Access for more than a month already. Still paying the same price. But of course, if you want more data then your only option is to migrate to one of the new Maxis Postpaid plans.
*
What the pros old plan against the new one? As far as i remember old one got 60gb , rm20x24 rebate and free viu subscription?
