Yeap, had the pppoe details ready. I am juts not familiar with the 2 in 1 modem router HG8145X6. So I will contact cs to convrt the modem to bridge mode done remotely. Then just setup my TPlink as per the youtube video right?

Connect from TP-Link Router WAN Port to LAN 1 Port of the HG8145X6 Router.

is the HG8145X6 Router really that bad for normal usage ?

just thought of it.. if i subscribe to 1gbps plan, can i request them to upgrade the router to HN8245X6 (2gbps plan router)? im willing to pay for it. is that possible? this is because i want to ultilize the 2.5g port so it wont bottleneck the bandwidth like HG8145X6 (1g port)

even if i bridge n connect to my own router with 2.5g port, it is useless still bottleneck at the HG8145X6

For the mesh node, will they charge any delivery / installation fee?

Fyi, the wifi5 mesh node is very poor performace, it is better to buy your own mesh system

I got the wifi6 router as a mash instead, works perfectly well though.

Wifi6 router (Huawei HG8145X6) is okay for normal use, but he mentioned wifi5 mesh node which is > WA8021V5... u can search the previous post a lot ppl complain poor performance

I will not likely use the mesh node anyways since I do not have connectivity issues at home.

Yes, the WA8021v5 is definitely a crappy device, with the customized software even worse.
The X6 is just good for normal under-performance use, don't expect it to be even on par with those models in the market.
