May i know can i replace the HG8145V5 ONT to my own PON Stick and plug it into router that supports SFP?
If im not mistaken TIME uses password based authentication and not LOID right?
I can get the password from TIME HG8145V5 ONT admin page , turns out it was same with our PPPoE password
Beside password authentication , what does TIME's OLT requires in order to make custom PON Stick work on TIME network?

very neat setup having GPON ONU SFP plug directly into SFP Router

with 2.5Gb compatible SFP, you can have more 1Gbps speed (no bufferbloat), also we have experiment on 2Gbps speed on Unifi Fiber

Mi Box S 5GHz WiFi is memang a known issue and Xiaomi never solved it.

I just buy a cheap USB Ethernet from Ugreen.

If you want to get whole home 1Gbps, so far the only product that's able to achieve that is the ZenWiFi XT12.

Why u buy usb ethernet?

My experiences with Time as a gamer who plays daily with local players and oversea players be it games like Monster Hunter or games that need extreme low ping like fighting games : street fighter / The King of fighters : (My house has 1Gbps Time and 100mbps Unifi installed)

Good parts :
1. Best quality when connecting to oversea. Unifi loses here when it comes to low ping and quality when connecting to oversea. When using Time to connect to oversea games, Time rarely fail or almost never fail, but Unifi fail rate is kinda high sometimes (slower too when connecting)
2. My experiences with fighting games, if connect to TW/HK/CN/JP, using Time, most of the time the ping is lower and much more stable. If Unifi achieves 100ms, Time usually would be 80+-ms. (That 10-30ms is very crucial when it comes to fighting games)

Bad parts :
1. If Time gamers connecting to game created by Unifi gamers or vice versa, the ping is not optimised. Example, if Unifi players connect to Unifi players, usually the ping would be 17+ms - 30+ms fluctuating. But Time players connect to Unifi players would be around 30+- to 50+ms. Very rarely would achieve as low as 17+- if one using Time and one using Unifi. So if your friends mostly using Unifi, you and them probably can't achieve the lowest ping experiences.

For DOTA2 because got singapore server I can get 17ms.

My MiBox S 5-Ghz Wifi stream around 35Mbps.
And around 90Mbps with the 10/100 USB Ethernet connection.
Either method is good enough.

No DC with Time 100Mbps service.

NB:-
5 Mbps to stream Full HD content.
25 Mbps for 4K Ultra HD content.

HI sifus, i have to add asus wifi 6 router to my huawei router (provided by TIME), as the huawei router only wifi 5,

My question is what the best way to setup my asus, since it doesn't have fiber optic port

Request from CS that the Huawei router be set into bridge mode so that it basically only functions as an ONT, and plug in the Asus router and setup as usual

For me using unfi. The ping will be the same somehow the respond is slow.
