You mentioned that Speedtest was not a good test for latency. So, try fast.com?

fast.com also can. it shows the latency more intuitively.

TIME screw up disable my bridge mode wtf... now have to call again ask them to enable again.

Did u experienced disconnection at night? Just for a minute. Check the logs. If so, then they might have upgraded the equipment at ur location. Happened to mine but I set the bridge mode myself. So it could’ve reset when the new OLT pushed the config. My fibre reading improved after that.

I was informed by a Time agent that I could apply for a 600 Mbps plan at RM139, with the first six months free. After six months, I could request to downgrade the plan to 200 Mbps; however, the two-year contract would restart. I wonder if anyone has tried this.

Initially, I was thinking of subscribing to the 200 Mbps package and upgrading the router to Wi-Fi 7 (for better coverage), with an additional one-time payment of RM99.

The coverage from TIME is weak even on the WiFi 7 model

Buy your own router, even a cheap RM300 WiFI 6 router will be faster than the TIME free router

Any recommendations for router models? The issue with using your own router is that Time might reset the bridge configuration, requiring you to call them to reconfigure the modem to bridge mode again. Thank you

It rarely happens and usually only happen to those that did their own DIY bridge config

Check router thread for recommendation

Hi just to confirm, I currently have 2 HG8145X6 and it seems to support EasyMesh?
So I can buy something like a TP Link AX53 to be the main wifi router, then use the additional HG8145X6 as a mesh node?

So basically HG8145X6 as modem => AX53 => HG8145x6 mesh node?

It's RM40 rebate on each month for the first 6 months, and RM139 on the 7th month onwards. The Free 6 months promo only counter offer when you wish to leave.

No point getting this...go for your own WiFi6 Router will be good enough, at least for now.

i read the faq last time, yes, technically u can do the downgrade of plan immediately after 6 months, so one can take advantage of the 6 months discounted price then immediately after the end of it downgrade to save the monthly fee.

Is the following router recommended ?
- TP-Link Archer AX53
- ASUS RT-AX55.
both are decent & budgetary routers with fairly good performance.
- Or have others ?
If budget allows, go for TPLink AX73.

Still down as of now. Looks like no sign that it can be restored anytime soon.

No use, the place I stay, both 4G and 5G coverage are poor. So backup on this is not useful at all.

Dun know. No update given from them.

I contacted CS live chat to report the problem. The CS said they will sms me when there is update to the outage. But in the end also nothing. I only know the service is up by the messages from my apple homekit and my Linksys routers.

Totally no idea what happened that caused the service to be down and how it was fixed.
