Well yeah. Didn't have it weighed officially but I drove an '08 City for 7+ years. Had friends driving the '05 which lost the back end multiple times. Plus it's not hard to see how empty the rear is compared to the front.

wait.. dahell? Did the thread get merged? I remember replying in /k yesterday.

No sir, I quoted you from my /k thread biggrin.gif

Anyone changed car battery from Honda? They quoted me rm255 for the car battery.
Is it wise to change from Honda or change at outside?
Won't void any warranty or any impact on the car right?

Know why this happen? thought with esc/vsa, this is not supposed to happen? 70km/h not not too fast also ma. tayar botak?

I don't understand why the fella need to brake twice. But looks like the driver brake too hard in the second instance plus turning into the bend caused the car to oversteer because that bend is downhill, the balance is shifted forward making it easy for the tail to lose grip and spin.

If the front tyres were botak or less gripping than the rear tyres, this might not have happened as the front tyres would understeer and not want to turn.

That is also why for FF cars like City and Vios, new tyres and put at the back. A car that understeer is safer for unskilled drivers to control in an understeering condition simply by getting off the accelerator.

Battery can change anywhere , doesn't affect your warranty.
Shop around.

you can change it outside but don't jumper your car.. if your battery kong, ask HIP to towing your car to SC and change it in SC..

if got sign your battery will kong soon, you can change it outside..

As far as i know, there are some cases whereby the terminal battery and push start button kaput due to jumper.. cost of terminal battery in SC around RM 200..

In the case that your battery kong, u need to jumper your car first before changing your battery.. Otherwise you need to reset your ECU again at SC..

but the problem is jumper MAY cause your terminal battery kaput.. in other case, their push start button got problem.. If the case happen, you cannot claim warranty..

the best way is just call HIP and ask them to towing to SC to replace car battery.. Yes, some people says that there is no problem change it outside or jumper the car.. but if come to problem, terminal battery will cost you RM 200++..

So free read online? Read your owners’ manual? NO need to reset ECU.

Just make sure you use the correct technique to jumper the battery when needed. From rescue battery, Red clip to red clip. Then black clip to metal part of the engine bay of the dead battery.

My conventional battery of my Hybrid still 100% even after almost 1 year of usage. I drive at least an hour daily for work and it is parked under covered parking most of the time.

Perhaps I should change outside next time. This is my first time changing car battery for my City, after driving for almost 4 years. rclxms.gif
Still RM255 for a car battery is too pricey, now surveying where to get the same car battery for cheaper price.

Lelong is selling it for RM190 only, Honda charging RM240 + labor fee.

Battery

In addition, at how many % car battery remain that we should change the battery?
SA told me to change while mine still has 71% though.
