So i decided to go outside and tint Because 70% vlt is too bright Heard a friend of mine told me that if you tint outside, it is cheaper than tint at Honda although both are using the same product. Difference might around RM300. Not sure whether thats true. However, those Honda salesman sure encourage you to tint at Honda by provide all sort of reasons like not to void your door, window warranty. |

QUOTE(tailangong @ Nov 1 2018, 03:06 PM) Thanks. But I read online that when u changed battery u need to reset the ecu. Not sure if it is true. I assume u guys don't have any issue after changed your battery? If you remove the battery and switch off engine, the ECU will reset itself after few minutes no power. No need you to reset it. Some might prefer not too because it has to learn ur driving pattern all over again. And battery can be changed outside no problem. |

Yes its true."Honda salesman sure encourage you to tint at Honda by provide all sort of reasons like not to void your door, window warranty." That is true too. But that only applies for official Honda factory tinted, not tint done by the SA(but claimed it was by Honda). To know if its from the factory, the tint warranty card/slip will have Honda logo together and warranty contact is Honda, not 3M or Ecotint. |

QUOTE(babylon52281 @ Oct 31 2018, 10:50 PM) Wowzers! That City nearly collected the innocent Axia. Must have scared the shits out of the Axia driver. You’re right, the driver didn’t skid, but he did over react by oversteer to the right trying to compensate.Wet road, probably no VSA like what nordingh suspected, way too fast, hardbraking during a turn. I am very well familiar with that stretch, a left uphill with right downhill that bends to left again just before a short straight up to the ramp, I would normally start braking as soon as I clear the top, but as a long gradual braking, not hard like that driver did. I suspect that person panicked and overbrake, the City braking is hard to estimate accurately how much pressure to apply. That person didn't totally lose the rear but did not immediately start countersteering (panic maybe) hence went straight into the barrier. Something similar happened to me once long time ago somewhere else, and I'm lucky I still alive. Btw how do you know the driver is hand braking? 🤔 |

QUOTE(dickybird @ Nov 1 2018, 05:27 PM) Just make sure you use the correct technique to jumper the battery when needed. From rescue battery, Red clip to red clip. Then black clip to metal part of the engine bay of the dead battery. That's right, common mistake user do is putting negative cable to batt -Ve.My conventional battery of my Hybrid still 100% even after almost 1 year of usage. I drive at least an hour daily for work and it is parked under covered parking most of the time. |

Some might prefer not too because it has to learn ur driving pattern all over again. I prefer ECU to reset to factory, so can have a fresh memory. Last time, I drive fast and at least 100km everyday, now drive slow already and only short2 distance. LOL.And battery can be changed outside no problem. My City only move out from garage on weekend only. Weekday, I use smaller car and motor. Last Sept my car already 4 years, mileage doesn't reach 70K yet. |
