I can only think of two technical explanation if they really tried and cannot be done.
1. The OLT Line Profile is already fully provisioned. You need NG-PON2 to fix this.

I believe their "pilot phase" story is like this:
1. They plan to just use automation to reconfigure your account and GPON Line Profile
2. Roll out and OLT gave error (some people get the upgrade, most doesn't)
3. Finally found out the limitation of GPON
4. Trying to manually reduce the number of ONU per port by using dark fiber or addition of splitter box
5. Everything else wait NG-PON2

Moral of the story for user: Secure your upgrade before your port is fully provisioned
Lesson for TM: Open turbo speed package for subscription before promising free upgrade. They would have found the limitation if they did this

Technical issue aside, problem is TM bad attitude to existing subscribers.
Current style is "kalau you tak suka bayar lebih, downgrade je lah" puke.gif
I was highlighting to her on why new subscribers got directly turbo to 100Mbps from 10Mbps while paying RM129 while existing subscribers have to wait until next year for turbo.
Then I requested my report to be kept open. It was closed 1 hour after the phone call against my request. vmad.gif

TM technicians was accidentally uncapped your unifi speed, and that's why...
If i were you, I WILL DIAM DIAM AND ENJOY THE 50MBPS since you might not eligible for 100Mbps turbo. Ideas...

I am living on an apartment and currently subscribed to Unifi 10mb on VDSL. I noticed just now when I check the coverage of my area, I can see the building name has been rewritten as FTTH [insert building name], and I can also subscribe to 100mbps package which I have not been able to before.

Anybody know how to request them to port me from VDSL to Fiber on the same package?

any idea what cable that Tm provide during installation?
the cable that connect the btu and router together.
cat 5, cat5e or cat 6?

yea, that's right. used 50mbps giving from tm nut and watch unifi tv via stb. sit n enjoy with highest speed from tm. pay for 10mbps. thanks for info.😂😂😂😂👏👏👏👏

My Unifi Advance 30mbps - RYE2017 finally got turboed to 300mbps on 17/09/18, I noticed the date same as my previous service start date which is 17/09/17...

Dunno just coincidence or what, i'm @ Alor Setar, Kedah btw

i also in Alor Setar, but not yet get upgrade. current package is 30mbps bonanza campaign.

For those who want to downgrade, can just downgrade T0 30mbps since no quota now.

Ltr if they implement quota next year then can upgrade to 50 or 100mbps.

Then can save 200 bucks for better router.

This will works right since they always encourage upgrade?

finally got the speed after figured out that my powerline ( tplink 1300 gigabit passthrough ) is bottlenecking my speed and changed to ugreen cat 6 20m cable ...
