Sick of waiting.
Went to TMpoint and asked for discount due to paying RM210 for 100mb inclusive of sst. Then the lady keep say rugi this and that because of my account eligible for turbo upgrade, then i asked for 20 discount in order for me to retain my package, then she go and check with supervisor this and that and at the end can't do anything. Wasted my time and I straight change to RM129 100mb.

I’m currently on contract ending next month.RM199 for 30mbps. Asked Tm point if I can switch to RM129 for 100mbps when contract ends. They say have to terminate and sign up under different name. Anyone manage to downgrade under the same name/account?

Hey guy don't hope for the fast speed.

Internet world is not 100% secured.

All my customer enterprise server infected by Cybergod ransomware, despite have entry-level fortinet firewall, kaspersky endpoint security, also will kena infected and all data gone. Using Dell DL1000 backup server, the backup server also infected by ransonware and backup data kena encrypted also cannot be recovered at all.

So all data now KO, all long years data gone forever.

Come on, what you said doesn't make sense, what is the relation between high connection speed and the risk of infected by ransomware? No matter your internet connection speed is 1Mbps or 100Mbps, you will get the same ransomware or any malware if you are not careful (high risk habit when just clicking next without reading when installing software, using pirated software, visiting and downloading files from non-certified website, extracting unknown zip files from unknown sources, etc...). I'm sorry but blaming the connection speed just don't make sense.

That's very impressive! Now u can relax n enjoy the speed hehe. Same device right?
*
Yeah same device, nothing changed.
But have to say, LAN will be able to get 500/100 on servers that wifi can't. Which is weird since wifi is definitely capable.

You've been played. Why do you need to wait till the contract ends? Just say you want to upgrade to the 100 Mbps package and that's it. !My contract of 50 Mbps will end at February 2019, can't wait for Turbo to come, I went to TM point On 7th September to register, application processed online on 13th September, new package installed in 15th September, contract renews for 2 years. Bill projected to reduce from rm179 to rm129. Can't wait to see the latest bill....
by the way, unifi terms and conditions didn't mention lower priced package as downgrade, but did mention upgrade is to sign for 'higher speed' package tongue.gif

yours is on fibre not vdsl, go ahead with live chart technical team, they might help.
i'm assume you had read the first page for troubleshoot as well.

Hi,

Yeah, I've troubleshoot based on the 1st page.

- Currently using Asus RT-N18U which supports 1gbps
- BTU Alcatel Lucent I-240-G supports 1gbps as well
- All connected using Dintek cat6 lan cables

Anything that I missed? Anyway, I guess I'll be calling their hotline to check on their side. And maybe as per 1st page, might be btu configuration issue as well? Thanks by the way for helping

So i've posted here before, situation is :

-Turbo-ed 500mbps

-Alcatel 240-G-P (white TM box) BTU, link speed shows 1gbps with cat5e cable to PC on LAN1 port.

-Asus AC66U router, latest firmware, NAT acceleration auto (can't force ON), QOS off, LAN cable connected directly to PC with cat5e (1gbps link state) , max speed <110mbps DL .

So i thought it was TM side, gave it a few days but still no progress. Today at a colleagues place, using Alcatel 240G (silver square box) and Tp-link Archer (TM router), achieved 200+ mbps on 5ghz on my phone speedtest. checked WAN cable and its the standard TM cat5e.

My question is, possible for my cat5e (tried 2 cat5e cables, one from asus, one from TM) to be faulty? since it shows 1gbps link speed, or router setup i'm missing? Checked NAT acceleration auto (CTF enabled).

just reach home and fire up the test... quite disappointing.. only 200mbps up and down. But after a restart of devices (modem+router), get full speed. rclxm9.gif

Thanks for the info!

I'll try again at another TM Point. they have just turbo me so now i'm paying RM199 for 500mbps. Not sure if they allow to switch RM129 for 100mbps. Anyway i'll try again, thanks!

Anyone tried moving from old packages to RM129 package through live chat?

Can I know, which Tmpoint that you've been that ask you to terminate and make another new account? Seems a lil bit fishy.

Even if you still in contract, you definitely can downgrade/upgrade if you may.

Are u sure you go Tmpoint or Tad (tm authorized dealer)

To create a new account, and such, it's like they want to trick people to make new account. Maybe to get more commission.😂🤣

Anyway, my account update,

Current package : unifi lite 10Mbps (fiber setup)

After disappointed with Tmpoint quill last week,

Went Tmpoint Titiwangsa today, around 12 noon, waiting bout FREAKING 4 hours there until reach my turn to get served.

Ask to Unifi 100Mbps Rm129, show right away photo of my premises fiber box and home fiber setup, lady acknowledge.

Mention straightaway can upgrade, directly she create order for me, but weirdly mention tech still need to come, schedule dis Saturday morning, she said once technician configure, speed will effect right away.

Upon went home, received sms said order has created.
Worth the 4 hours wait.

If you want me to be honest, the router could be the bottleneck for you to get you your full turbo speed. Try with another router if possible.
