Yes you only need to bring your IC. I downgraded from 500mbps (RM179) to 100mbps (RM129) yesterday at Cyberjaya (you can only do it at certain TMPoint). They kept asking me why downgrade. 500mbps is overkill for me. I'm okay with just 30mbps actually. Sadly the RM79 plan got 60gb limit.

However, RM129 is without the set top box. You will not be able to use it, so you can only watch unifi TV from your phone.
Hopefully unifi playtv app will support chromecast soon.

I moved house from Flat to a condo just 100 meter away.. Nowadays my wifi sucks big time.. I'm on 50 mbps.. Wifi will drop to 1 mbps or 2 mbps even close to router.. I'm not using any microwave at house.. Need to restart my whole BTU and Asus router to enjoy 50 mbps speed..

Any idea why this happen? Router heats up? Condo uses FTTH.. My router is Asus RT-N12HP with the 9dBi antenna.. Tried playing with changing the wifi channel but still the same..

I did once to my brother router. I reset it by mistake. make a call need some ID confirmation. than boom they give the password. just 1 hour call.
I change my personal & company router all by myself. is just a 1 or 2 hours job ler. no need to call technician to do those job
do you keep the original carbon paper when TM technician come to install unifi. the password & user id should be on the paper.

BTW what router you using? not the one you trying to setup

sorry to say, i had both of Asus wifi router always intermittent fault like this, i consider nearly kaput, and now migrate to Dlink product. lol

Got android phone? Install this apps https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?....analyzer&hl=en and check how many 2.4ghz hotspots around your neighbourhood.

The fact that you need to restart your router to get 50Mbps means the router probably automatically selects less congested 2.4ghz channel.
