Doesn't matter. It is not a firmware issue, bro. Your router LAN ports does not support gigabit speed. It is a hardware issue.

this is your router? https://xiaomi-mi.com/wifi-routers/xiaomi-m...ter-mini-white/
then you have to upgrade your router to enjoy 300Mbps,this router WAN/LAN only support 100Mbps
*
Gotcha, another upgrade to be added to the list.

Removing earlier post.

don't think so. as long as in your bill, the residential voice is RM0 then no way to remove, even if remove also no changes to pricing.

I have no free call plans as I declined it when they proposed it during the 2017 Thank You campaign. I already have unlimited calls on my mobile so why should I pay for a landline that I will hardly ever use. The landline is still there but it is pay as you use. So yeah, you can decline the unlimited calls part of the plan.

*
not me...still waiting

now thinking of waiting till 1st Oct and see what new plans TM will roll out, if by then still nothing beneficial to me then i will downgrade to rm129 - 100Mbps plan

since 800Mbps requires me to fork out quite a bit of money to upgrade router and whatnot..i rather maintain the same equipment to save money for other necessity

QUOTE(YoungMan @ Sep 21 2018, 02:34 PM)
If the call plan is included free, then you cannot remove it. Example, UniFi 100mbps RM129 is inclusive of free call plan, therefore you cannot remove it to save RM20.
*
i was wondering why they can remove free call plan and reduce the bill amount....haha

You can use that, but why would you want to do so when you have plenty of options you can choose from, which is much better, and cost the same, from the 1st page?

im already on 50mbps/rm179
the problem is people paying rm129 for 100mbps
that is not fair
just let customer install the rm129 pckge
and let the copper do max speed it can handle.
*
wait for 50mbps RM99.

Guys, I’ve recently installed a 100Mbps Unifi, and apparently was charged RM260 for installation.

Technician said he used 30meter of cable for the non-standard wiring on top of house, calculation of the bills is correct but I dont understand how it reach 30 meter? The location I set for the Unifi and outside is quit near (5meter).
*
Maybe because they 'gulung' the cable ? so that they can use the extra meter cable in case your cable is damaged or broke up

Did you received any sms regarding the order they created? At TMpoint previously, did they mention to you that any technician going to come and do checking at your premise?

For me, i received sms regarding the order, and in the order stated :

Created : (date i came to TMpoint)
Install date : ( which is tomorrow, day that lady appoint technician come to my house)

my condo max speed is only up till 30Mbps and i doubt the management would upgrade the building infra.
so i thought to get the all in 1 modem router to replace the TM provide Huawei HG655a and the orange D-Link 615(which is from the VIP 5)
since this d-link have VOIP option which can connect for the phone.

In my experience, these things AIO modem/ routers always get fried in a lightning storm. Had to replace a few on my own instead of waiting for TM.
