Its the same for everyone. Alonso would still be remembered as the driver who won 2 world champions with Renault, and for all other championship that he will win in the future. When schumi drove into Jaques, it was an unforgivable mistake that none of his fans can defend, and I'm sure whichever team he was driving for, their fans didn't like like it either.

But now is now. If those mistakes were left unacknowledged by the driver them self, it could harm the driver himself. Massa should not have shown the thumbs down either, it was totally his own fault.

I mean, bad mistake should not be defended too much, heh.

He lost to Damon mainly because of dog of a car I believe

Actually he was banned at the Belgian GP in 1996 because he disobeyed the Stewards at the British GP. Thus giving Damon the chance to close the gap.
For Massa, it might have been his fault, but there are some more incident that the Stewards left out
- Taku going in the pit when it was closed
- Kimi jumping Liuzzi/Trulli jumping Kubica in outside teh pit because both cars stopped at the red light

when i watched his gesture....i thought he was showing d thumb-down for himself 4 getting disqualified......not towards anybody else....tat's how i felt it

or maybe massa is blaming the safety car?
or blaming the race director for closing the pit exit?
or blaming his own team for not informing him on the radio?

rules are rules... izit possible not to notice the lights before driving out the pitlane???

Alonso say that bcoz Lewis is lucky with his fuel strategy,if Lewis first stint fuel like Alonso,he will get penalty too,Alonso had no choice,he must come to pit to fuel-in,that why Ron Dennis blame GPDA for safety car laws which driver not allowed stop when safety car come out until all race car line-up behind safety car,innocent driver will get penalty in this situation,the first safety car only give advantage to who had already made a stop which is Nick and Lewis

Other than that,Lewis had other luck when his tyre very comfortable in first and second stint,Lewis`s tyre also get better grip than Alonso at last stint

before this we heard that sooner or later hamster will get his first pole n his first win..he got it already...but,sooner or later he will also get his unlucky race,its just a matter of time

I wish to hear his explanation on the 1st corner when he went to the grass.
If he stayed behind Lewis, he might stand a chance for the lead.

More him acknowledging that Lewis is his main rival rather than the two Ferraris this season.


What's more to complain. The Ferrari was not at fault. It's the driver's responsibility to see the red light. Nothing the team can do as they don't know themselves wether the pit lane exit (not entry mind you) was open or closed.

Taken from F1 rulebook
- The pit lane exit will be closed when the Safety Car is near or approaching the pit lane
- The pitlane entry will be open during that time
- Cars that are following the safety car can pit at that time
- Cars already in the pit will have to wait until the pit lane exit is reopened again
