QUOTE(kapitan @ Jun 11 2007, 02:57 AM) Weird race. Too bad for Massa and Fishi. I dont think they knew about it. Boring race overall except for Sato overtaking Raikonen and then overtake Alonso. LOL for that. BollocksIt also seem like they arent allowed to enter pit during safety car now. When did the rule changed? Haf to wait till pitlane open... WTF!! That result with so many stranger in top 10. Alonso and Nico got caught out with that. I think Formula1 is going downhill. The reason everyone kept watching now is they want to see what Hamilton can do. Its not about Alonso, nor Massa nor Raikonen. They want to see Hamilton. |

QUOTE(linkinstreet @ Jun 12 2007, 12:08 AM) Hmm, reminds me of Schumacher during his younger days. He always makes mistakes, but was fast enough to win the championship with Benneton. He was even still rough around the edges during his initial years at Ferrari, losing the championship to Damon, Jaques and Mika because of some stupid errors. But ppl never remember him for that, they still remember him as a 7 time world champion. But hey, like you said, mistakes are mistake. He lost to Damon mainly because of dog of a car I believeThis post has been edited by BurgaFlippinMan: Jun 12 2007, 05:42 AM |

QUOTE(linkinstreet @ Jun 12 2007, 07:41 AM) Actually he was banned at the Belgian GP in 1996 because he disobeyed the Stewards at the British GP. Thus giving Damon the chance to close the gap. Erm, I believed that in 1996 it was obvious and publicly stated the he never expected to challenge for the title in the Banard Ferrari? And He won Spa and Monza back to back that year. |

Taken from BBC (Murray Walker is commentating on Five Live radio for this week's race as a one off stand in for their regular guy)
1406: Hamilton is taken off the track on a stretcher but he does manage to give the thumbs up and a wave to reassure that he is OK. 1404: The engineers in the McLaren garage are really checking over Alonso's car just in case he is in danger of suffering a similar crash. Team boss Ron Dennis thinks the crash is tyre related but also revealed it is too soon to know if Hamilton can race on Sunday. 1401: It appears that Hamilton is having difficulty with his feet as he half stood up but then leant against the car. "It looked as though something broke on Hamilton's suspension and the car was out of control as far as he was concerned - there was nothing he could do. He went ploughing diagonally into the tyre wall but has hopefully done no more than bruise himself, but I don't know." Murray Walker commentating on Five Live |
