Some ppl think, "Aiya, married edy no need braces la". Nice teeth has got nothing to do with age and marital status. Its all for your own good. Sorry i'm not from penang, cant recommend you any clinic.

Nope, i hav not de-brace. But almost one year already. I installed my braces on 4th Oct 2008. I will be visiting Dr. How next week. Wonder what he will do. Those lubang where i extracted my teeth are almost done closing. Left back one lubang a bit slow.

Just do it and no regrets. Fyi, I'm 27 yrs old and it's my 3rd month with braces on.

I'm from Penang. any bracesians from Pg? any recommendation? I went to Looi Orthodontics. Right opposite Tanjung Hospital. Near PCGHS. Very famous orthodontist. BUT long waiting time each appointment. The outcomes are good though. Almost all my high school friends went there for braces.

Conventional braces on the left are tied in with elastics, which cause friction and pressure, making treatment slower and less comfortable. Damon braces use a slide mechanism to hold the wire, which allows teeth to move more freely, quickly and comfortably. Damon braces are designed to be discreet, comfortable and easy to keep clean. Without the elastic ties which attract and collect plaque, Damon braces make dental hygiene easy during treatment. This post has been edited by kentcp: Oct 22 2009, 05:51 PM

If I remember correctly, Dr. How said that it is not good and he's not using it anymore. Damon 3MX is the better 1 but it looks slightly bigger than Damon 3 because part of Damon 3 bracket is transparent while Damon 3MX is fully metal. i'm using Damon 3 as well..now it's 2month and my upper teeth all became straighten~!!so happy...my fren is using the conventional one..didn't see the result as fast as mine...anyway..each method has it's own benefit..the conventional one is much more cheaper...but the damon3 one will move "automatic"...so fast...2 months and i get use with it ^^ hope the time flies ~~~hehe...ganbateh every one...

QUOTE(advanced @ Oct 24 2009, 02:12 AM) do you think i can switch from conventional braces to damon system? You can switch it but I believe it will cost you a lot than our total cost. If you already using conventional braces, then switch it to damon system unless 1) Addition cost of money is not a matter for you 2) You need to align your teeth within 2 years & less.
