QUOTE(kentcp @ Jun 18 2008, 12:59 AM) Personally, I suggest you wait till your wisdom teeth finished growing then only do the braces. At that time, if the wisdom teeth is not straight, the braces can correct it accordingly. icic, thanks kentcp If you do braces first, then the wisdom teeth have no chances to correct if it's not straight. This will be not a best idea. adui, i cannot wait lar, i'm already 24 was thinking to do damon 3 so no need to extract the 4 teeth, and my wisdom teeth take very long time to grow also maybe i'll ask dentist first lor what to do |

Zestful Shoppe, really helpful information especially for me
Do you mind PMing the the address and contact number of the dentist? So you opted for Damon System right? Is it the Damon 3? Or there are many types of Damon? |

Hi all,
I've called a dentist in Kepong, which so far has the most wallet-friendly price for Damon 3 System. RM5000 including X-RAY. (so I've been told by the receptionist when I called them. Will inquire more with them later) Finally I found the cheapest in town so far. But I can't give comment on their service/dentist knowledge or so forth coz I haven't meet him yet. Only based on forums/internet recommendation saying that he's not bad and has the cheapest price for braces. I'm going to set appointment with him 2 more weeks as the dentist's schedule kinda full, maybe because a lot of people coming to him for braces huh Anyways, you guys feel free to call him and share any more info. Ong Dental Surgery 18A, Jalan 54, Desa Jaya, Kepong. Tel: 03-6272 2710 |

Hi guys,
Went to my first appointment this morning, had an X-RAY + teeth-moulding(?) + consultation. I like the dentist, he seems very friendly and fun. Maybe because I was the first patient of the day, so he was energetic? Is it me, or the teeth-moulding feels fun? I like it when my teeth got sinked into the clay. Cold yet comfortable Can't wait for next appointment |

I mean, i fixed it on saturday so if 4 weeks later i will go for the following saturday, which is this saturday. This time, i will ask doc to cut my wire shorter. U know? i havent live a day without the dental wax. The wire is really sharp. 2 days ago when i was trying to stick the dental wax on, i use my fingers to feel it...the sharp part. It poke my finger and it bled. omg poke fingers also can bleed?then inner cheek is super thinner than fingers, then.. then.. |

QUOTE(lovehewit @ Jul 31 2009, 03:55 PM) Try the dentist I told u guys about. Go for free consultation first la. Wah Yott Chan...4 teeth ah, your case extremely crowded? Damon is meant to combat very crowded teeth without extraction also right? I read many website the dentist is not suppose to simply pluck healthy teeth cos is not good. ya, the dentist told me too, it's unethical to pluck out healthy teeth, but since i need to give some space for front teeth to move inside when i wear braces later, have to pluck out lor.. |

My 7th month of wearing traditional braces and I'm loving every moment! I don't have before pic, but here is my current teeth:
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « I had protruding teeth, like malay call it "jongang" and couldn't cut foods with my front teeth (bite gap?). But just after 5~7 months wearing, no more! Can't wait to tighten every month, although a bit painful, but when I see my teeth become more and more aligned, I think it's worth it! |
