Usually my first choices to book hotel is through traveloka, can use vouchers and most of the time i check the price is cheaper than agoda and booking.com

the scheduled maintenance only at 4 August 2019 (Sunday), 3:00am - 6:00am

Can’t believe I’m posting this. Someone used my amex fraudulently to purchase something on Google’s Play store i believe.

The thing is, i only used my amex for petrol and never saved my card’s details anywhere - not even on Google as I’m using Iphone.

RM0.00 MBB:TQ for using your Maybankard ending xxxx for MYR4.00 AT GOOGLE SERVICES \\;05/08/19;02:04.For enq call num at back of your card

I called Maybank CS and they confirmed that it’s a fraudulent transaction hence already blocked my amex.

Be careful guys!

Fraud case on AMEX is NOT something new.
If you browse back through versions and pages, it's well known issue.

this is NOT new. amex is very susceptible to fraud transactions.

call CS immediately to block that transaction (so that it dont get posted into your card).
DO NOT wait or ignore until the fraud txn posted into your card, else the dispute will be much longer.

fraud transaction doesnt need you to save your card details. the fraudsters just simply whack a list of card numbers and wait to get lucky. fraudsters expect ppl to ignore/unaware until it's too late.

from the FAQ, the details would show: The amount, location of transaction, date of transaction, time of transaction and Bank’s contact number. Transactions made in foreign currency will be indicated in that particular currency.
