hi can i ask what difference gold vs platinum?

i tried apply for platinum card unsuccesful. my basic salary 4.6k if add allowance 5.8k

both AMEX and visa get charged for SST RM25 each...   

not clear regarding this. some claimed wun be charged as long not activated, while some claimed will be charged upon approval.

pay to TNB. I think made around 6 transactions to the payee

I guess it's a bug with MAYBANK AMEX. Seems like EVERYONE also kena. side note. Anyone here AMEX kena fraud ah? Mine kena early of the month and until now haven't refund back yet usually how long one ah for the amount to be refunded back?

I have cancelled the visa as well. They allow to cancel the visa. But the cs did ask me what reason and I explain SST. It seems that they will allow that if it is due to SST.

The CS said something to the effect of "If SST is the reason, we will allow cancellation of the card"

I need to transfers my BT from VISA to Amex too.. I Usenet visa to monitor my BT repayment.. if they allow to cancel visa, I will just transfer to AMEX

I'm curious as to how come you guys do not hesitate at all to cancel the Mastercard just keeping Amex. I always find myself use both Mastercard/Amex very frequently because some shops do not accept Amex CC.
Do you guys own another bank Mastercard instead?

in uob IB, entering biller code will show you the name.

just tried m2u (new portal), doesnt show. 

for uob pib, it show the biller code's name before confirming payment.

afaik, jompay biller code registration doesnt apply to individuals. only to registered businesses.

the ref-1 (varies) according to biller's recon identification, usually account number or mobile number, etc.

same as any other internet banking, you key in wrong acct number, sure fund will be transferred to the wrong party. same goes to jompay's ref-1.

jompay links between banks/billers, NOT the customers within the billers.

only a select few payees in m2u has direct link/integration. have you tried all payees on m2u?

Biller code only 4 digit and you get to see their name. Ref-1 just validate and copy paste from your previous known to be correct source if they are identical. That's what I did.
