Hi guys, just wanna ask something, my card was approved on 4 July, only received and activate it on 17 July. My first swipe was yesterday as well, but transaction is yet to reflected in my maybank2u. How many days before i can see the transaction in my account?

When should i expect my account statement? Will I receive it by the end of this month and  deadline  of payment at the end of next month or how?

Sorry, kinda new to this, this is my first cc.

do u check ur available credit limit? u don't see it in M2U because merchant yet posted the transaction, come back to check few more days later.

u can call CS to find out ur statement date if u urge to know, payment due is 20 days from statement date.

Usually the transactions will take 0-2 days (wait for the merchant to claim money) to be posted (you can see it only after 10 am on the following day at m2u). It is possible that the transaction could be posted 1 month later or never posted!

Maybank don't inform you when your first statement will be issued, you check your m2u every day, you will know when the first statement is generated and you must settle the STATEMENT BALANCE within 20 days (DUE DATE) from statement date.

I see, i thought transaction would be reflected immediately. Anyway, it seems my credit limit has decreased, so I guess, it should be okay. Thanks for the response anyway nod.gif

Even you make payment to the credit card account at m2u or CDM or IBFT from another bank, you will see the record only after 10am on the following day (But don't worry, the available credit limit is adjusted in real-time).

It is not like Current/Savings account which the transactions are reflected immediately.

[Same to other credit card issuers, not only Maybank]

Alternatively, you can call the CS to ask for your statement date. I have just received my cards a week ago and I called CS to ask for my statement date. whistling.gif

which card's pds are you referring?

i checked m2c gold and plat, the sentence not exist.

at first you wrote T&C. but you are reading PDS which is a brief copy -- technicaly it's correct for principal.

re-read the T&C again. it's stated how the cashback works between principal and supp spending and how the cashback flow to principal only.

Hi all, lost count of all changes after reading this topic, so hoping for a bit TLDR.
1. Any trick to cancel one of the card, since first page said cannot cancel after 1 Sep 2018?
2. For utility payment and groceries, which card carries more benefit comparing the Amex and Mastercard?
3. If you keep both cards, can state briefly what are the pros and cons of each card?

Thank you.

1. Not that I know of.
2. Amex hands down. 5% cashback for weekend spending is still very very good.
3. There's nothing good about the Mastercard lol. It gives you 1x TP and that's probably it.

If the Utility is SESCO, then forget about using any of Maybank credit cards. Try SarawakPay, use online banking to topup, you will get a very good rebate (compared to Maybank M2 Visa/MC/Amex - 1 treatpoint on weekday, and Boost), especially on 22/7/19, the Sarawak Independence Day.

tested using FavePay with MBB Amex Plat on 9/7 and MBB QRPay charged to Amex on 15/7, both rewarded with 5X Treatpoint (for utilisation on weekday).. Following this logic means during weekend should be able to get CB? hmm.gif
