I just checked my Amex card rebate transaction and calculate.
There's one transaction i made on 4th August (Saturday) which is Digi bill payment tru Jompay doesnt reflect the 5% cashback?
Is Jompay not entitle for it? I check the T&C it doesnt mention that restriction.

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Sep 4 2018, 10:36 AM) based on my checking with MBB, yes if you look at your Card B and Card C, the expiry month/year actually follows Card A's expiry month/year. for SST, it'll be based/tracked from card's expiry month, and then the SST RM25/card will be charged on the 15th of that expiry month. my problem with this method is for new card. Card A: expiry month March. to be imposed SST on March 2019. New Card D: applied this month Sep 2018, SST imposed immediately, but the expiry month follows Card A's expiry month on March. What will happen in March 2019 for Card D then? You wont get charged since you already "advance" charge for the year 2019 (March renewal)

I wonder, is it ok to convert our top up to bigpay (e.g. rm2k) to EzyPay plus that charge 9% ?
Will Maybank gonna ask me regarding on this “purchase”?
FYI the online site I purchase doesn’t offer EzyPay 0% by Maybank and is using foreign transaction, hence I plan to use BigPay for lower exchange rate.

QUOTE(LostAndFound @ May 28 2019, 09:07 AM) Nothing wrong. But you're paying additional 9% to save on exchange rate.... worth it? Hmm.. short of cash flow as of now but then just wanna calculate extra scenario to my decision, haha Thanks!

QUOTE(CoffeeMiloTea @ May 29 2019, 10:05 AM) Yup doing that paying off my Unifi, Digi bills as well as filling up petrol but still left hundreds. Was thinking if there is any other way to maximize the usage. Boost seems to accept amex but then the usage is limited and we can only pay for Syabas. Other than that the outlet mentioned do not seem to be useful to me and most people. So is there any avenue that we can maximize the cash back? of course use it for necessity not just to get the RM50/month. Boost can pay Unifi/Streamyx FYI You can also use for Shell Pump Please refer boost thread for more info Sorry out of topic

QUOTE(ClarenceT @ May 29 2019, 01:18 PM) So spend RM1000 (max) on weekends and unlimited amount on weekdays. 5X TP worth 1% is good for general use, before TP is devalued again. TNB is still a hope there, you are lucky you can pay your electricity bill at Boost App. Wrong tag boss I'm not the one who wan ask TNB

QUOTE(adele123 @ Jun 7 2019, 05:22 PM) On this topic, not sure if i should ask it at the other thread, anyone used the Amex points to offset the RM25 SST on barcelona? If yes, would save some money here too. I have gold 2 kad and Barcelona I called CS to waive my SST rm25x3 but they said Barcelona already a cash back card, so cannot entitle

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Jun 19 2019, 09:34 AM) i have a reserved view on how mbb doing the july cashback calculation later more worried if the billing/cb logic calculate whole july based on new "rule", irrespective to 1st-7th (eligible) then 8th onwards (ineligible). the cutoff date is odd, which i guess their approval (to cease the benefits for ewallet topups) was late, then late to publish, then late to take effect. I think is the 21 days rules: from now till 8th July = 21 days which is in the tnc of amending the rules of TNC amendment This post has been edited by TongCN: Jun 19 2019, 10:32 AM

QUOTE(cybpsych @ Jun 19 2019, 10:33 AM) yes, i'm aware of the 21 days notice. what will be done on the system/logic is another matter. Nothing last long Good thing for mbb still is that there is no tier level for cash back criteria
