hi guys, just to ask some questions.

I applied for Maybankard 2 online through Maybank2u like a month ago. However I didnt complete the application as I didnt submit any supporting documents.

Only last week, I received a phone call asking regarding my card application and asked if i wanna proceed or not, i said yes, so he asked my details manually and after the call, he emailed me with details of documents that I need to submit. I didnt reply to the email and completely forgot abt it.

Just now I received a text from Maybank, saying card application has been aprroved.

My question;
- Can they approve card application without I submitting my payslip etc?
- If the sms is legit, how can check if my credit card application is actually has been approved?
- They will send the cards to my billing address or i need to pick it up at any maybank branches?

I tried to call 1300886688, but push 1 for bla bla bla, push 2 fro bla bla bla, when i choose credit card, they asked for t pin, not sure what is that.

strange is it? My friends who recently applied with monthly income more than 5k also rejected. He applied for same maybankard 2 gold. Anyway, mine is approved without sending my documents cos my salary is credited to my maybank account.

it baffles me too, so I thought that might be case, cos that is only I could think of. I dont have any loan with Maybank. Anyway, talking about credit background, mine is clean too, no personal loan ,no hire purchase loan, only PTPTN.

so dangerous la, hmm. maybe they need more customers, so the only way to gain is to approve credit cards free free.

Can call customer service, they will assist, mine was approved on July 4, July 8 attempt delivery to my office but fail. So I guess it takes only few days.

card approved on 4 July, until today, not receiving the card. So slow. They tried to sent to my work address but failed, now need to wait for 5 days before I can self pick up the card at nearest maybank. hmm.

I requested for the card to be self collected anyway, maybe mishap when filling the form manually through phone call. Now just need to wait.

Actually you can. You can self collect if you residing in Sabah or Sarawak. I’m in Sabah anyway.

Hi guys, just wanna ask something, my card was approved on 4 July, only received and activate it on 17 July. My first swipe was yesterday as well, but transaction is yet to reflected in my maybank2u. How many days before i can see the transaction in my account?

When should i expect my account statement? Will I receive it by the end of this month and deadline of payment at the end of next month or how?

I see, i thought transaction would be reflected immediately. Anyway, it seems my credit limit has decreased, so I guess, it should be okay. Thanks for the response anyway

let say i buy something using ezypay, e.g 12 months, and i have spare cash to settle everything let say in the third month, is it possible to do that? or i do have to pay some fee?

Just wanna share my experience,

I called CS asking when would I get my first account statement. I will be receiving my statement by 3rd day every month and last payment would be on 23rd. I requested my bill cycle to be adjusted from 3rd to 7th day every month to accommodate me as I usually received my salary on 25th. And according to CS, we can request to change our bill cycle and it takes 30 days to process.

sorry guys for asking to much, another question.

I already received my first statement, so I have paid the total amount, but I clicked outstanding balance and paid it. But, still I have my statement balance, and it has an option to pay for it. The last amount I paid was reflected in my total spending (the pie chart one).

What should i do? should i pay again the amount in statement balance or is it okay as i've clear up my outstanding balance?
