QUOTE(jiaen0509 @ Aug 25 2025, 10:39 PM) Yes, no action was taken. I even had another issue with the cashier before. That time, I wanted to use ShopeePay because I didn’t bring my AMEX physical card. But the cashier simply pressed “cash payment” without asking me the payment method. Since I had already applied my RM5+5 voucher, they said cannot void the bill. You mean in a way you've converted your rm5+5 vouchers into cash? They forced me to pay cash,, but I insisted not to. Finally, they returned me RM10 in cash and I walked away with nothing. All this happened because their terminal cannot accept AMEX contactless (I was using Apple Pay), and the cashier simply pressed cash payment on their own, without checking. So now the only way to use amex at aeonbig is to pay by shopeepaylater? This post has been edited by victorywp: Aug 30 2025, 10:38 AM |

Received rm10 cash was even better lol.But I insisted do not want to pay in cash. In the end they have no choice and return me RM10 in cash. Since can't directly use amex at aeonbig anymore, so the only option is to use spaylater & pay back using amex on weekends. |

My Maybank card just got fraud. 9x transactions from UBER LONDON.
Anyone got any experience how long does reversal take after submitting the dispute form? |

Curious. What if the fraud (assuming already posted) is big amount? Would Bank expect us to pay first while they Investigate & refund later?

Pay 5% of statement balance to avoid "1" at CCRIS.Maybank will reverse the fraudulent transactions and interest. But may gain (just keep quiet) or lose (complain to CS) in monthly CB, if the fraud and reversal fall in different month, not really a bad thing. Non OTP transactions mostly not a problem to reverse even if UBER LONDON disputes the dispute. Happened to me with SCB & Facebook. Facebook or their payment processor disputed 1 of 3 of my disputes. Took another 2 weeks.Anyone got any experience how long does reversal take after submitting the dispute form? |

I forgot what happened with my MBB dispute but for my SCB dispute, approx 3 x RM3000, they temporarily credited the disputed amounts to my CC quite fast and before statement so I don't have to fork out any money. |

Is it true that for Maybank’s cashback, if a transaction is made and posted on the same day (like 31 August), it won’t be counted in August’s cashback calculation? Anyone here can confirm?
