Those of you who have fully embraced the app, how are the push notifications for card transaction alerts? Reliable?

ya man wholeheartedly agree. i wonder if the app push notifications will suck a lot of battery juice

now seems no choice but to use app , as secure2u is the only authentication method for transferring > RM8k

Unlike some of you, my Amex only got renewed for 3 more yrs. First time got the card in 2015, they gave 5 yrs

Do u usually receive, via post, replacement for expiring cards together (visa/master + amex) or separately?

How to change (or even disable) Visa + Amex contactless limit?
Searched on M2U and ATM menus, no luck.

ps. yeah yeah i know it's super convenient, but I'm a bit paranoid and not a fan of contactless.

Almost end of March now, is this still true? Just tried to pay Unifi bill in shopee app with amex (to take advantage of some voucher), payment failed.

EDIT: Nvm, ignore above. Just saw a clarenceT post on march 16 saying amex still doesn't work for digital goods transaction (Deals, Top-ups, Bills).

i can't confirm if top up with Amex is *allowed* or not. But i can say it stopped working for me since few months ago, same with some other ppl in the shopeepay thread.

normal retail purchases can
shopeepay topup cannot
Digital purchases & bills cannot

I assume the uni charges in foreign currency, because payment in MYR/RM cannot be paid with PayPal linked AmEx.

from my exp paying server bills in USD/GBP, no extra charge per se just by going through paypal... eg. if bill is USD100 , u pay via paypal or direct CC, both will also get charged USD100 to card account.

visa/master even worse, at 0.17%

It's like he owes the bank treatpoints lol
