Do this method entitled for the 5%cashback ?

Hi all, im still using amex card but the other visa card is being kept in drawer same with most of you.
Wondering if anyone managed to cancel it? Mind sharing on how to cancel it?

I surprised to find AMEX payment on Foodpanda last Sunday. So I gave it a try.
Sad part is that the transaction doesn't entitled cashback even the date is on 29th Nov.

I wonder why coz mostly I do groceries shopping even late Sunday night, it still entitled cashback.
The image below shows my transactions for November month.

(without foodpanda)RM389.80 x 5% = RM19.49 CASHBACK that i get
(with foodpanda) RM409.83 x 5% = RM20.49 should get

My statement on 7th, guess I'll have to wait then.

Btw, the posting is control by Maybank or the merchant upon charges to bank?
Coz some of my transactions like Giant and Petronas transacted on Sunday night but posting date on Monday, they are still entitled to cashback though.

should choose your bill due date at 10th of the month. so that you can have more buffer time if your current month cashback quota is full, then can BF to next month quota because 1st day of the month usually not falls on weekend.

I'm planning to make a rm2.5k purchase.
Need some advise to whether should i do the purchase with amex on weekend to max up rm50 cashback or on weekdays to get treatpoints.

FYI, i usually unable to max up my rm50 cashback as my commitment isn't that huge, usually around rm20-30+. I can push my bills payment to next month.
As for treatpoints, i currently have 17K. I only redeemed Lotus cash voucher as it is the most practical redemption for me.

hi there, i had moved from my previous staying place. my mbb card mailing address is still the old ones as i forgot to change it.
i received SMS saying they had mailed my new card to my previous staying place and i'm seeing in my MAE app showing PENDING ACTIVATION.
Can i just go to maybank branch to change the card?

coz it's expiring in apr-24.
and old address is the place that i rent. i have access to the condo but not the mailbox as i dun even know who is the current owner.

has anyone noticed that some shop under FOODPANDA unable to use AMEX or even VISA/MASTER for payment? only TNG ALIPAY is accepted.

At first i thought it was a apps glitch, but i can select the AMEX payment method in other shop during payment.

previously i also apply thru maybank online but kena rejected.
then some time later, their CS called me and manual process it again, then passed without hassle.

just that not entitled to freebies, coz was not considered apply thru maybank online. at that time, MBB have some sort of new CC online application freebies

can i know what's the major difference between amex gold card and platinum card?

yup, the 2 card.
im having the 2 gold cards, checked website like you said, i only see the travel insurance additional perks for the platinum, the rest seems the same, just wanna confirm.

went thru the t&c, unless you're flying abroad frequently, else it doesnt entitled to the claim coz it states that

i mostly do it at the last weekend to count the balance quota, then just perform payment for astro, unifi, reload.
no problem encountered so far for 6 years, but seldom last weekend is also last day. anyhow, 31-may-25 i perform the same payment at very last minute 11pm+ , still getting my full cashback quota.
