TM routing shit one...connection unstable then lagging lo...

Which VPN you are using and to which country?
*
VPN no matter what country also work, normally I use Singapore as it is the fastest one. I use Unifi and VPN to Singapore and it loads.

If use mobile data digi, no need Vpn also loads.

the reason i'm sticking to <100Mbps package. existing using 50Mbps

1) besides downloading games in steam, i have nothing to download. everything can be steam at 1080 which is more than sufficient for me.

2) same as 1, 1080 is more than enough. my eye is not tat good.

3) lousy 5 years old pc with no plan to upgrade in coming 5 years. but pages still pop up wtihin 2 second, which is acceptable for me.

4) same as 2.

5) default unifi router can support up to 100Mbps right?
*
most people should be ok with the current 129 100Mbps plan + STD20 + 1 x Unifi TV pack.

others to most users are overkilled.

then i try to nego if possible to reduce my monthly payment..currently i'm paying RM169 plus sst..based on the conversation..i can downgrade my hypptv package..but contract for hpptv will renewed for 12 month..currently with turbo package is RM60..after downgrade to basic package for RM30..so my monthly payment is RM129+6% sst total RM134.

tm will call me back within 24-48 hours to reconfirm the request.

Subscribers now can downgrade to RM129 for 100Mbps instead of taking the TURBO Speed, but renewal of contract for 2 years. Just saw that from one of the articles...

This is damn cheap! Even Time cannot compare. RM129 with stb and 500mbps. TM really unfair with pricing.

Host Game and advantages of few miliseconds...  rclxms.gif
100Mbps RM129
50Mbps RM99 (Isn't this CHEAPER than RM109 sweat.gif )
30Mbps RM79 (Addon RM30 for Uncapped)

Thanks for updated  thumbup.gif
Can we migrate plan now? Is that system update?

P/s: NEW plan seem allowed us to choose more Humanize, can opt-out without STB + STD20 and saving our $$$.

Those FPS gamers need every milisecond yo whistling.gif

Looking forward to RM99 50Mbps package official announcement - especially upload speed, hopeful for anything better than 10Mbps, please at least match Maxis' 30Mbps upload at RM89! No need to consider UniFi Basic 30 Mbps (RM79) and unlock no quota (RM30) at RM109 already rclxms.gif

Really big thanks to @Xefron for the inside scoop. Looks like another trip to TM Point next week since I can potentially save another RM20 RM30 per month (RM240 RM360 drool.gif annually, which is more than enough to fund a Raspberry Pi Zero W to Google Cloud Print-enable my Fuji Xerox DocuPrint P455d).

QUOTE(Pebbie @ Sep 7 2018, 12:16 PM)
i think the package is fine for most people. to be honest, how much do you value the 600 minutes when everyone have handphone? heck, i even disconnect my dect phone to save power.
*
Exactly. For many people with cheap/unlimited voice minutes on mobile, it makes no difference.

I even prefer making business calls over mobile if I don't mind disclosing my mobile number (Caller ID) cos I gain more freedom of movement through AirPods/bluetooth headset. Yes, I know bluetooth is also available for landline phones but it requires more hardware, additional cost and is less mobile overall. And the battery life (I used the Eneloop Pro high capacity AAAs) of the DECT phone isn't that great relatively, really long calls may even require switching batteries/phone (yes, you can do it if you have 2 DECT phones (which I got from Streamyx and then UniFi) using a splitter).

In fact, I only value the UniFi phone line for its call forwarding feature to my mobile/REDtone SIPhony - which is a real niche.

For VDSL-er like me, I am pretty sure that the infra cannot support more than 50 Mbps even on best effort (which btw, only Maxis is offering and which TM is refusing/unable to turbo existing 30 Mbps VIP10 packages). So we will take whatever max speed at the cheapest price that we can get and this RM99 50 Mbps plan (upload speed still unknown) looks like a better deal than Maxis RM129 plan for 100 Mbps download 50 Mbps upload which is unachievable due to infra limitation. RM30 savings a month can pay for Netflix/Smart DNS/VPN subscription yo.

Depends on the coverage. One of my friends Streamyx 512kbps RM66/month upgraded to 10Mbps Unifi for RM80+/month

depends on your area/tech capability

if UNIFI HSBB, no problem with that but for UNIFI Lite SUBB then might have some problem

for your case, really have to wait technical team to check first then only able to give more accurate answers
