I sign in Jan 139 30mbps. My hypptv have a lot channels.. TVN also have.. now recently have sports.. including MUTV..

if my area has good Maxis fibre coverage...i will switch to Maxis

rm129 for 100Mbps is very tempting without the hypptv nonsense...and god knows when tm will upgrade my unifi

My experience with Maxis, about 2 years ago, was that I had tons of unexplained issues with PSN. Just kept getting disconnected. Their BTU is exactly the same as the ones from TM. Only their router is crap, a N only wifi, with LAN ports limited to 100Mbps. Only the WAN is Gbps capable.  I believe it was the Technicolor TG784n v3. Can't remember other issues, guess it was either none or insignificant. Never tried torrent.

I junked Maxis soon after, and after switching to Unifi and using it for the pass over 2 years, it has been good with zero issues on PSN.

I was thinking the same. Paying 179 for 30mbps. Even maxis 100mbps also far more cheaper than tm unifi. No hope

I am paying RM149 for 10Mbps pending upgrade to 100Mbps.

The new Maxis 100Mbps broadband package at RM129 looks so attractive. If Maxis throws in Astro TV together with the package, TM can say good-bye to their customers.

Is Maxis good? Considering there are no issues with Unifi's service except their ridiculous pricing which literally effs you over. All other ISPs are slashing their prices except TM, offering turbo upgrades with no indication that their prices will go down. They have groups of subscribers ranging from sub 200 to above 300 for their 100mbps plan. I wonder if they will standardize this.

If not much difference, RM129 for 100mbps is really a good deal, that's like 150% reduction of my current charges.

feel cheated by tm as old customer paying higher price and still not yet turbo-ed. Asked tm about that and mention wan to switch to maxis they responded it up to you. Is there any way to take any action against them??

Linksys EA7500 shd able to handle 500mbps subject to distance...

Mikrotik hAP AC is 3x3..thats why more expensive..

haha, as I've said earlier TM overkilled themselves, Half the prices and Double the speed is sufficient already.
Now they making hard-days for them own selves... and mostly of us didn't need that 10x speeds at all excepted those download-king...

My condo unit can only support up to 30MB and my contract unifi is over. I was contemplating whether to renew for RM139 or move on to Maxis for RM89. What do you think?

Harass their staffs especially management staff. Quite easy to spot in LRT Kelanaja jaya line at Kerinchi station. Spam their fax machines and whatsapp their management staff  and message them on Facebookif you have their phone number.
