The best part for maxis broadband is all existing MaxisONE Home Fibre customers within contract or out of contract are eligible to change to their choice of a new plan with new contract of 24 months.

Tm don't even bother about existing customer that not eligible to turbo the speed. Pay full price and u don't get turbo. 

Despite its upgraded but I dun feel the speed is increased as I do download few movie at the same time but finish load at almost same time as before

I think it depends on when your contract started. Recently the termination terms were changed for those who started contract after a certain date. It is based on full montly price, ie listed price before discounts X balance contract time left. There was an announcement a few months ago, maybe you can search for it for details.

 Customer who terminates their unifi Home account after 12 months but still before the end
of the minimum contract period (24 months) will be charged with monthly subscription fee of
broadband (price before discount) of the remaining months.
 Customer who terminates their unifi Home account before 12 months will be charged a
penalty of:
 monthly subscription fee of broadband (price before discount) of the remaining months
and;
 monthly subscription fee of unifi TV pack of the remaining months
 The early termination penalty for unifi TV pack before the minimum period of 12 months will
be based on the monthly subscription fee of unifi TV pack as below:
 Aneka Plus/Varnam Plus/Ruby Plus pack: RM30
 Ultimate pack: RM60
 Customer is required to settle any outstanding bill prior to the termination request

I am using Archer C7 v4, unifi 100Mbps
I don't have this issue when using 5Ghz. Can get slightly above full speed, something like my sig. Tested with Intel NUC i3 5th Gen and Nvidia Shield TV 2017.
Using the latest firmware available from tplink malaysia support site.
Have you tried a hard reset? (using the button on the c7)

Just messaged with TM live chat.
For 30mbps promo, after 24 months contract will revert to RM 199 per month.
Now dilemma to get RM 129 for 100mbps with Maxis, or
RM 139 (2 yrs) for 30 -> 300mbps with Unifi ...
