QUOTE(ckseng @ Aug 20 2018, 04:57 PM) The best part for maxis broadband is all existing MaxisONE Home Fibre customers within contract or out of contract are eligible to change to their choice of a new plan with new contract of 24 months. question is that is the price a perpetual one? or it is reverting to other pricing after 24 months contract? if yes, i will switch to maxis 30Mbps plan also after my contract ends with TM.Tm don't even bother about existing customer that not eligible to turbo the speed. Pay full price and u don't get turbo. Service Start Date 29 Nov, 2017 still got 1 year and 3 months though. 30Mbps at rm89 is actually damn good deal which is what most people really need. |

QUOTE(Luxmi @ Aug 21 2018, 01:46 PM) Despite its upgraded but I dun feel the speed is increased as I do download few movie at the same time but finish load at almost same time as before becos the previous speed is fast enough. and it depends on the source also, if source is slow, even you have a lot of bandwidth also it will not make any difference. |

QUOTE(wilson1stop @ Aug 21 2018, 04:11 PM) RM500 + FINAL BILLS (very important if you don't want headache later) + remaining of HyppTV if below 12-months. not sure if maxis is giving 1-month free subscription now or not particularly for the new package. no mention if the installation is free or not too. Maxis will give you 1 month rebate? can they use the existing unifi infra which just setup maxis BTU and wifi gateway for it to work? i dun mind to pay rm500 to terminate my existing unifi. maybe i will wait till hypptv contract is over which it should be pretty soon, since my service starts on 29 Nov 2017. QUOTE(mylinear @ Aug 21 2018, 04:44 PM) I think it depends on when your contract started. Recently the termination terms were changed for those who started contract after a certain date. It is based on full montly price, ie listed price before discounts X balance contract time left. There was an announcement a few months ago, maybe you can search for it for details. Mine was started on 29 Nov 2017. |

QUOTE(ICANEDU @ Aug 21 2018, 05:31 PM)  Customer who terminates their unifi Home account after 12 months but still before the end Just managed to check with TM live chat. Actually my contract left few more months only. Obviously my contract was not refreshed as I thought. Maybe I remembered wrongly.of the minimum contract period (24 months) will be charged with monthly subscription fee of broadband (price before discount) of the remaining months.  Customer who terminates their unifi Home account before 12 months will be charged a penalty of:  monthly subscription fee of broadband (price before discount) of the remaining months and;  monthly subscription fee of unifi TV pack of the remaining months  The early termination penalty for unifi TV pack before the minimum period of 12 months will be based on the monthly subscription fee of unifi TV pack as below:  Aneka Plus/Varnam Plus/Ruby Plus pack: RM30  Ultimate pack: RM60  Customer is required to settle any outstanding bill prior to the termination request That’s good. I can wait till 06 Nov 2018 to give 1-month notice and then have my service cancelled without charged. (If I interpreted correctly). Then after that I can sign-up maxis broadband for rm99 plan which I will save rm90 monthly. Maxis gives one month rebate for unifi customer port over. |

QUOTE(cannavaro @ Aug 25 2018, 09:39 AM) I am using Archer C7 v4, unifi 100Mbps I am using Archer C5 as well, can get full speed for my 100Mbps unifi also on 5Ghz on both download and upload. I don't have this issue when using 5Ghz. Can get slightly above full speed, something like my sig. Tested with Intel NUC i3 5th Gen and Nvidia Shield TV 2017. Using the latest firmware available from tplink malaysia support site. Have you tried a hard reset? (using the button on the c7) |

since my current 100Mbps plan (RM189) contract ends on 6 dec 2018,
actually i can: 1) sign up another new line rm129 10Mbps close to the date, which it will be eligible for 100Mbps plan upgrade. like this not even need to pay any downgrade fee and again i get all new sets of equipments with warranty. Saving: RM60 monthly (since i dun watch hypptv at all and i only use the free calls once in a while) 2) sign up rm89 30Mbps plan for maxis Saving: RM100 monthly (even more saving since 30Mbps is also good enough for me) 3) continue to wait to see if there is any other better deals next time. There are 3 free ports minimally for me to subscribe still. |
