It's weird.
It didn't have any column for me to select bank name during add card.
Just need card holder name, card number, exp date & cvv only.
Wondering my shopee app is the latest version (v2.25.17)?

May be you can try add card when making purchase upon the check out page instead of adding card at your setting.

no matter how i asked, shopee's official stand is NOT SUPPORT bigpay card. from the reports here, it's a hit-or-miss possibility to use bigpay @ shopee.

Shall I being "officially" list Shopee as BigPay not applicable merchant with remark "hit-or-miss"? At least reduce the frequency or newly joined member here keep questioning on the acceptance of BP on shopee.

possibly because shopee swinging between cybersource and ipay88. perhaps those successful added/paid using bigpay need to specify which payment gateway was used.

i myself cannot use bigpay @ shopee when connected to cybersource (and no way to switch to ipay88 either).

For my exp, i face the same issue of unable to transact through shopee, overtime i saw my card mark as favourite under "CIMB Bank Berhad", ever since able to used BigPay at Shopee, just perform a transaction via shopee using BigPay.

i cant even ADD card. it will be server error, the RM1 pre-auth charged then reversed.

Personally I've used my card on Shopee twice this week without issues.. Used the app for both times..

The first time, I think I entered the card information during checkout, so there's no pre-auth required.. The second time, the card was already saved in the app, so I just selected from there..

Not sure if it was CyberSource or iPay88.. not sure how to check..

Same situation here, I've used it at least 5 times di in the past month. Added during checkout.

Tried both, returned the same error. One is RM1 reversed, another is purchase amount reversed.

i'm perfectly well aware of this. not everyone can use bigpay @ shopee. what works for your doesnt applies to everyone.

the question of bigpay usability @ shapee still remains unknown.

this has been reported here many times by various users.

the page whereby it asks for "bank" is using ipay88 payment page. this is why there are 2 "groups" of users having 2 different experience

cybersource is direct-integration within shopee. you wont see any page to define bank type. <-- i'm encountering this

By reading the standard answer script given by Shopee CS:
I think the Shopee customer service has got no idea about BigPay, thats why she mentioned that BigPay is not supported. To her, BigPay is just like other e wallet such as Boost, FavePay, Lazada e wallet, etc..

Try ask again by using the word "BigPay MasterCard" rather than "BigPay"

for me, i use bigpay at shopee during both cybersource and current Ipay88 era, no problem encountered

my experience this morning. trying to make a purchase in Shopee with Big pay using the laptop. "Sever Error" was shown.

then later, open the shopee app, use bigpay. payment was successful.

In Vietnam now. Tried withdrawing money from Vietcombank. They charged 50k VND per transaction.

50 VNK is around MYR8.69
