Enter passcode on the first time, it show message 'something went wrong' (only happened every first try). Bug? hmm.gif
Enter passcode on the second time, it successfully show card details, card number, expiry date and cvv/cvc.

So far I used my own card to topup my own BP and partner's BP, and wise versa NO ISSUE.
I never withdraw before.

Please don't fight to each other ya..both of you got your point.

The reasons we reload using other ppl card to other ppl bp, even thought we know can transfer from bp to bp is surely due to the monthly quota of bp and benefits of reloading with cc.

So far I reloaded my wife account using my cc (but 1 cc I only use for 1 bp acc) have no problem reloading.

So...if bp gonna block us...then we will need to find other way. that's it. I don't abuse bp for reload n withdrawal...so, hope can still use own cc to reload other bp.

Merchants will not have access to your personal details other than the CC number.

You can use your wife cc, ah gong cc, papa cc, grandma cc, gf cc, etc etc to topup to your BigPay card, They WILL NOT know that CC does not belongs to u

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Jul 31 2019, 02:30 PM)
i already told you, they can see the name of your CC and normally you won't simply put the name on cc
BP got your IC details when you register with them
i don't want to quarrel with you, they got the way to find out the card is not belong to you unless you prove it with your cc statement
didn't see the update in the general list but manually search and got the update button

only can see the 16 digits, expiry dates and cvv of BP, not the top up sources...

i believe they don't check on the name as the card embossed name might not be same with IC full name unless they have access to full name

which one better exchange rate : BP vs merchantrade card?
*
different concept.
BP depends on the rate of the day you make the transaction, the rate is fixed
Merchantrade card can buying the currencies ahead, you may averaging your currencies cost by buying with different rates on different days
If compare daily rate, both are close. Today I can buy 100THB for 13.38MYR, 100TWD for 13.238MYR, 1SGD for 3.008MYR

i think quite similar but for BP it convert from RM on the spot during transaction. for MT, u buy foreign money earlier so u have more control over it. can plan & buy when the foreign money is at lower rate.

i used BP before for my overseas travelling. but now that i got merchantrade card, i use it instead because of convenience of having foreign currency right in my ewallet. BP is now just used for AA flight booking smile.gif

But but MT cannot reload with CCs. tongue.gif

OT: I'm starting to see Merchanttrade advertising their prepaid card in public places recently...

Looks like there will be some incoming competition between prepaid cards soon, once Razer and GoPayz launch their prepaid cards (if they ever launch it), things are gonna be fun to watch.

Guys....read the report carefully.....there will still be charges....."to drive traffic to "safer" methods".....I see aa pushing payments to affiliated channels.....eg their co-branded CC....

Their cc surcharges are ridiculous....they only pay the usual 2-3% merchant fees.....but charges RM8-12 even for a RM80 ticket to Penang.....they thought they can circumvent BNM rules by fixing it as "convenience" fee.
*
I believe BNM has given Airasia a stern warning and they remove the convenience fee.

Will not surprise they will mark up the flight price and give discount like RM5-10 each time using Bigpay/Co-branded credit card. Same like how Lowyat store dealing with consumer, use cash got discount, use CC no discount. laugh.gif

they are ald doing that, maybe for 1/2 years ald. if you search ticket without big account, it will show higher price, about few RM higher

my wife always search, without login account. then she compares with mine, mine got slight discount 1
